Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our short stay and would book again when we travel through that area again.

DId not meet expectationsPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked a 1-night stay over the weekend, and were sadly dissapointed by the condition of the hotel in general. The furniture in our room was stained, and a number of public areas had tiles coming off the wall or debris on the floor. Additionally, the check-in time took an extremely long time, due to the staff's unfamiarity with the computer system. So while the room was comfortable, we will not be staying here again.

Our family had a great experience staying here. Looks new, big rooms, up to date everything for a low price! Well maintained, good service.

Wedding in MemphisPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed at Best Western for the weekend for a wedding we had in Memphis. Location was kind of rural, but the price of the room made up for a slightly longer drive to our destination. Everything was great about our visit to Best Wester (5 stars) EXCEPT the breakfast......it was horrible. Every aspect of the breaskfast was unacceptable: juice, waffles, sausage, doughnuts.....nothing was good. There were, however, places nearby to have breakfast :)

The room was clean, well prepared. I am a Marriott Platinum; for the price, this was an very good hotel. Breakfast was eggs, sausage for me. Nothing fancy and very quick. Coffee in the room was of good quality. Towels were excellent. Very nice hotel. Steak house Colton, a few miles away with great bar and good steaks. A pretty decent work out area, too.

Just what we neededPosted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was impressed when we walked in and saw our upgraded room. The website we went through to book it didn't get it booked correctly. Good thing I called ahead with a question! We did pull out the couch and there was two children's balls under it and major crumbs. Otherwise, the room was neat, comfortable and orderly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. They went out of their way to make sure we had breakfast before we had to leave. That was above and beyond! Can I rate the booking site???

Never Stay Here!Posted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: Bulldoze it down and build a new hotel and hire a competent staff.
Location: Wouldn't have a clue, my room was given away and I had to drive 90 miles to check into a new room at 2:00 am
I had "guaranteed" reservations (my credit card had already been charged) for Friday, Oct 18 and Sat Oct 19 for a King Suite, non-smoking room, including a late arrival. When my wife, high school aged son, and I arrived the first thing I noticed was the lobby had a strong smell of bleach. We unloaded our luggage onto a cart and then I went to park. When I returned, I was then informed that "they" had given my room away. The last room they had available had one bed and REEKED of cigarette smoke. I explained that three grown people couldn't sleep in one bed, there was no way my son would sleep on THAT floor, and I had a guaranteed reservation and was over 5 hours from my home. The desk clerk acknowledged my guaranteed reservation but said there was nothing he could do. I then told the desk clerk he would have to find me a room elsewhere because I knew hotels in the area were all booked. He got on the phone and finally located a room. He said the hotel was about 20 minutes away. We repacked our car. I put the address in he gave me. The hotel was 92 miles away! Having no choice, I drove to the new hotel, arriving at 1:30 am. The hotel was actually a motel in horrible condition. I didn't even get out of the car. Luckily we found a nearby brand new Fairfield Inn by Marriott that had a room available. The original hotel offered nothing for their mistake. Expedia did provide me a credit on my account for a future reservation. I would NOT recommend this hotel.
