I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, since I usually stay at Hilton or Holiday Inn. The dining room and staff were very nice. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fairly good. The only problem was that Expedia sent me the wrong name of the hotel, so I expected to be staying in Tennessee, but I was glad enough to end up in Mississippi.

The front desk staff was very rude and not accommodating whatsoever. Our room # was in the 200’s When we complained that the 2nd floor smelled very strongly of marijuana and asked if we could switch floors, the clerk didn’t apologize or kindly reply she’d be happy to help. Instead she just kept telling us not to go in the room (which we hadn’t) then said “oh so you’re complaining cause you smelled it in the hall? Well I put you on the other end.” As if she already knew about the marijuana situation…but also I walked the entire hall & it was overwhelming with weed odor everywhere. I asked if we could have another room on another floor and she rudely said she didn’t have any. I said that’s fine we could just cancel and she said “you can’t, you’ve already checked in.” I said “well I thought this was a no smoking hotel (pot included)” and so if they didn’t have another room we’d need to cancel, but again she said we couldn’t. She typed on the computer for a couple minutes then mysteriously handed us a room key to the 3rd floor. I thought she didn’t have any other rooms available??!! At this point, I didn’t feel safe staying all night there with our daughter and promptly asked Expedia to help us cancel for a refund. We immediately left the hotel. But unfortunately, the manager refused to issue a refund! For a weed hotel! Frustrating too because we just needed a clean, quiet night to stay on our way home from a wedding. Common courtesy goes a long way. Disappointed in Marriott.

This hotel does not clean rooms daily. When we requested fresh towels, either we didn’t receive it or we received 2 for 4 people. Both times I had to go to the front desk to get towels after requesting. Trash in our room just piled up. The room was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. Grass was in our bed sheets. Hair all over the place. There were 2 semi friendly ladies that worked at the front. The other 2 were not friendly. One did not greet me until she applied her gloves. Overall, would not recommend staying here.

Our room smelled. I wanted to open the window to air it out but couldn't. It smelled of old smoke and dirty carpet. It was truly stable and stunk. I would not stay there again because of the smell. All other things were great. The room was clean. Breakfast good. Parking good. Convenient. The young woman at the front desk was delightful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing fancy
Front desk lady could not find my Marriott rewards number . Plus she did not tell me about the breakfast time or when check out is, was not totally happy about that… but hey stuff happens . Slept good . Thats a plus. Comfortable beds and pillows..As for breakfast,,, the eggs good , the sauage was nasty & rubbery . The hard boiled eggs were overcooked! Gross . Avoid there breakfast.
