"A palace that delivers"
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you know that you are staying in a very special hotel. This Palazzo is actually a palace and if you are looking for somewhere that will etch itself into your memory in years to come, this IS it. The staff are all extremely polite and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The suites are beautiful. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the frescoed suite Smerelda was exactly what we were looking for. Unique in every way. The breakfast room was exceptional with a huge crystal chandelier over the table offering a wide variety of food. Eggs any way, coffee any way and some wonderful bacon were among items on offer. There was even bubbly to enable us to make our anniversary breakfast toast to each other . Undoubtedly the icing on the cake is the terrace at the top of the Palazzo. It offers incredible views of Florence and to have the opportunity to dine there is not to be missed. To say that we had a wonderful time here is an understatement. We are so glad that we found Palazzo Magnani Feroni and look forward to staying again when we return to Florence. Nowhere else would even compare.

"Great Hotel, Away From the City Centre"
We had a lovely stay at the hotel, it's a bit of a walk from the city centre but only 15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed. The facilities are excellent, lovely modern surroundings, obvious attention to detail. The rooms are lovely, the LED lights around the bed are a particular treat and the bathrooms, especially the shower are fantastic, so good you almost didn't want to get out. Breakfast is the usual continental fare, but well done. Florence is a lovely city, we had a great time but the hotel was a great base to start from, and a great place to retreat to when the afternoon heat became too much.

"Wonderful villa, perfect for our honeymoon"
We arrived late, but the concierge was as helpful and obliging as if we were old friends. We were lucky enough to have room 202, which had a lovely twin aspect view of the gardens and the pool/Florence skyline, and was comfortable and elegant. Breakfast was superb with a wide selection of cereals, fruits, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses and pastries, and was offered coffee as soon as we entered the breakfast room, which was on the terrace overlooking the Duomo. All of the staff, from the cleaners to the reception staff and shuttle drivers were polite, courteous and friendly at all times, and made our stay a real pleasure. The pool wasn't heated, but the soaring temperatures in Florence made it a very pleasant escape in the heat of the day. I loved the little touches such as the 'good night thoughts' left in the room each night, describing aspects of Michelangelo's work. We loved out stay and would recommend the villa to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A special thank you has to go to Laura who gave us invaluable information on restaurant recommendations, security and places to visit. Our stay, with the incredible views and friendly staff will stay with us for a long time. Thank you for such a beautiful honeymoon!

"A little gem"
Absolutely perfect. Close enough to the centre to reach all the major attractions easily, but just far enough away to avoid the crowds and bustle when you want to relax. Staff and facilities were all better than we might have expected from some of the reviews.

"Beautiful place to stay. We will be back"
The rooms are new with great use of space. The hotel staff was delightful and very helpful. Room was quiet with lots of storage and space to move. Furnishings are very nice with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is close to all that florence has to offer but not in the centre of the busy area. Downtown is only a 5 min walk over the golden bridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again.

"Italian Tour"
We spent two nights at the Grand Hotel et de Milan, two nights at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, two nights at the Grand Hotel Villa Cora Firenze, three nights at Covo dei Saraceni in Positano, and three nights at Hotel Raphaël in Rome. The competition was stiff, and while my wife and I most enjoyed Positano, we both agreed that the service at the Grand Hotel Villa Cora was most exceptional. The staff was best dressed and most helpful. It is the only place that I can still name staff members and we travelled last month. Marco the driver mapped out our walking tour, Marco the concierge arranged early morning tickets for the Uffizi and Accademia when there was no online availability, Francesca our bartender was friendly, and we even got to know the general manager Simone. I was most impressed that I didn't once have to pour my own wine or water at dinner. The food was refined. This is a boutique, intimate hotel. A drawback is the brief shuttle or walk to town, but well worth the price as compared to the St. Regis in town, and I am a Starwood Preferred Guest. Consider walking thru the Boboli Gardens to the hotel.
