Beautiful Park-like Setting

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: It was in a very convenient location, and I loved the beautifully landscaped setting.
Cons: Maybe a little more décor/art in the room. It seemed plain and sparse.
Location: It was close to shopping, restaurants, and the center where I attended a business conference.
This hotel is attractively decorated, very clean, and the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

Good stay

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Comfort Inn is a brand we stay at often and this location had one of the worst breakfasts. Item choices were fine but the prep/taste needs help.
Location: Close to shopping mall, Saint Martin's college. Short drive to the Capitol and downtown Olympia.
The hotel is right off the freeway and a main road but the noise was minimal. It's very close to shopping, restaurants and groceries as well. It had visable wear and tear but was very clean. Smaller pool that was a bit cooler than I prefer but my child thought it was just right and the hot tub was very relaxing. It includes a free breakfast but save yourself the trouble and grab the free coffee and go across the street to Denny's or Shari's. The eggs and sausage had a odd taste, the gravy was watered down and so was the waffle mix. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

Clean and comfortable

Posted May 12, 2014
This hotel was kept very clean and had pleasant staff. The pillow options were a nice touch and the breakfast was a bit nicer than your typical continental breakfast. There were at least a couple options of protein instead of all carbs. It was relatively quite and a not over crowded.

Pros: Pleasant staff and comfortable accomadations.
Location: I attended a conference 2 miles away and my husband went to Olympia to tour the capital and enjoyed the waterfront park.
Staff was very helpful in explaining hotel amenities and providing us with directions to get to our destinations. The king size bed was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet.

Very nice overall with a couple of minor issues.

Pros: Staff, location, cleanliness, comfort of rooms.
Cons: Check the key system and tv did not work.
Location: Via Interstate 5, gigantic shopping and dining options. Good restaurants immediately adjacent. Imax theater. 20 minutes to Evergreen College.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful which is a big selling point. The rooms are also nice with very comfortable beds. Very clean throughout the hotel. The TV did not work, but I only turned it on at the end of my stay and forgot to report it as I left very early the next day. Did not use the pool, hot tub, or fitness center but they looked clean. Pool is very small but it was open and generally available. Access is all the way to midnight. Their breakfast is very good and not the standard continental breakfast (as in lots of carbs.) but also included eggs and sausage as well. What is fantastic about this hotel is the location. Perfect. Movie theater and some stores very close by and a standard selection of franchise restaurants (Denny's, Red Lobster, etc.) available within short walking distance. The immediate adjoining area is good as well. Also, just a few exits from Olympia where their is a huge variety of shopping and restaurants via Interstate 5. Very easy to get around the area generally. We were visiting Evergreen College and it is an easy 20 minute drive. The only problem we had was with our room key cards which malfunctioned for both of our adjoining rooms. Staff said that it happens sometimes but very nice about it. Generally, it is a very good deal for the price and one of the nicer hotel visits I have had in quite a while.

Good comfortable night stay

Posted Feb 6, 2014
The beds were comfortable. The pillow options were a nice touch. The rooms were clean. The breakfast bar was good, with the exception of the coffee - very weak, cold, insufficient supply with no second pot waiting in the wings. Other than that, all was good.
