“3 Stars good location”

Good central location. Close to the capital and downtown. Right on the small waterfront with two nice restaurants. Ten minutes to 5 freeway. Parking is limited but ask for dashboard placard and Inn will pay parking meters until noon. Service was excellent, breakfast was excellent. Room was clean with only minor stains in carpet. Bead was clean but had a low spot. Relatively firm though. Sink was in the living space vice bathroom which was a little odd. Bathroom was spotless. Room had microwave and fridge with coffee service and separate sink. Room was attended to daily.

“Nice place to visit.”

The Phoenix Inn was comfortable and convenient destination during a business trip to Olympia. I got an upgrade that included a jacuzzi in the bedroom.

“Great inexpensive hotel”

+Near beautiful waterfront, and artsy downtown area. Friendly staff; good included breakfast; 24 hour pool; free parking; free wfi. -Had to go to the front desk to get info on hotel, they didn't have the standard handbook in the room with tv channels, pool hours, room service menu.

“great to come back to during an eventful weekend”

Everything was great. Only "issue" was weak water pressure in the sink, but the water pressure in the shower was terrific. Bed was comfy and everything was clean and lovely. I love when a room has a mirror and sink outside the bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback! I agree with you on the weak water pressure in the sinks; the City has put aerators in all of our sinks, to conserve water. We are working with them now to decide on whether to continue to use them. It certainly not worth risking our guests stay quality. I'm very glad you enjoyed everything for the most part though! “Good and central”

Had a good stay, just for one night. It's a modern hotel, probably very used to the business traveller but we did well there on holiday. It's well situated, by a marina with good restaurants but just ten to fifteen minutes walk from the Capitol. Lovely staff, everything we needed in the room, would definitely go back.

“Nice place - close to Farmer's market”

Nice place to stay, it was close to the Farmer's Market. The parking can be a hassel if the hotel lot is full but on the weekends on-street is free.

“Stylish Hidden Gem in Olypia”

I stayed at the Hotel Phoenix while in Olympia for a work-related conference. The location is great--close to 4th Avenue shops and restaurants. The lobby and rooms have been updated and look great. The rooms are larger than your typical hotel room and very comfortable. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast nor the pool, spa and exercise facility, but like that these extras were included. Overall an excellent place to stay.

“Lovely location on Puget Sound”

Ideal for families. Breakfast is well presented. Rooms could use upgrade - especially soiled carpeting. Not a fan of sink in the room.

“Didn't want to leave”

Just as the title of my review states, I didn't want to leave. Great hotel! Great staff! Best continental breakfast you will ever encounter!
