Pros: Location; it was only a few blocks from our conference. And parking and access were easy.
Cons: As stated above, the use of bleach was too strong, but I expect it was only a "one-time" thing.
Location: Centrally located in the state capital, within walking distance, or a short drive to the capitol campus, shopping, dining, etc. Also bus service near
Everything was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room was clean and tidy, and quiet. Not too much outside noise. The only thing (for me) was the overwhelming smell of bleach in the room. I found out that the staff had been cleaning the grout in the facility, and they promised to speak to housekeeping staff about it.

Check in seemed to go Ok except when I went to my assgined room and found it already occupied. The desk clerk apologized and cited a mix up at shift change for the error. They change shifts several times a day, is there a mix up each time?! Fortunately the occupant had the door hook engaged so while I could open the door with my key, I could not enter. But if an occupant had not engaged the hook, I would have walked right in before realizing my error. Later when I tried to use the TV, the remote would only change the stations, I had to locate the power button on the TV to manual turn it on, and change the volume. The remote probably needed batteries, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of calling the desk. The morning desk person was very nice, and breakfast was OK. hot bisquits and gravy, cold cereal etc.

Good choice for short stay.

Pros: Free breakfast, free WiFi and the reasonable price.
Cons: Larger pillows (present ones are like cushions) and replace present noisy air conditioners with quieter ones.
Location: No applicable
Nice hotel for a short stay in terms of its price. Easy to find. Staff is nice and good overall.

Olympia hotel just off freeway

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and, other than the odor, cleanliness.
Cons: Don't know how, but get rid of that background odor. And, get a chair that fits the desk--arms too high, tipped backward abruptly. No good for writing
Location: Olympia WA. Unless you're on government business, it's a pass-through town. Great golf at the Home Course and Chambers Bay to the north.
Just OK for the price. Biggest downside was a lingering background odor of cigarettes and pets (?); hard to know exactly what, but pervasive.

great hotel

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly and the room was great, it was the perfect size for the two of us. The laundry room was very convientient and it was nice to find a hotel with a fitness center and a pool. It was close to the highway but not to close so it was quiet. It was also convieniently close to the down town area. I would definetly recommend this hotel!
