Convenient to The Capital and downtownPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: A little table right outside the bathroom with ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. It's so inconvenient trying to find places to plug in my devices!
Cons: It may need a serious facelift for the halls especially. For the price , it was ok.
Location: Close to downtown Olympia and the Capital campus.
My husband and I stayed one night for a family event. The hotel was very close to everything so that was the primary reason we booked there. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has been there awhile and there have been some updates, but there are a few things that are a bit worse for wear. The bathroom was nicely updated and the king bed was acceptable (kind of high praise from me - I am fairly picky about hotel beds and prefer a little on the soft side). Some of the furnishings seemed a little mismatched but everything worked.

Okay experiencePosted Oct 28, 2013
The room was nice, and the hotel was cozy. However, the other guests were not respectful. We heard people running and screaming down the hallway all night long. After complaining about the people next to us having a party, the party still continued all night long.

Great hotel!Posted Oct 19, 2013
Location: It was near the capital and downtime for easy driving. It was also close to Tumwater Falls Park which is a terrific park to get back nature.
It's a beautiful hotel that they have kept clean and up-to-date. It has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were really nice and the cleaning staff did an terrific job of keeping them clean. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast buffet for only $7.95! All the staff were very friendly and professional. It was close to everything and very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Nice hotel near tennis facilitiesPosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Very good breakfast, although you have to pay extra for it. Very nice and safe surroundings, good parking, close to anything in the Olympia area.
Cons: The hotel could use a makeover given the price. While very nice, it has seen better days.
Location: Near the Tumwater tennis facilities and near the state capital.
One of the nicer hotels in the Olympia area. Our destination was Tumwater for the tennis facilities, but this was the best hotel we have found in the area.

Dated but nicePosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: The staff . . . and having the restaurant and lounge on site.
Cons: Décor updated, smells of smoke still lingering, modernize the wake-up call so that human error on the part of staff is eliminated.
Location: Near to the state capitol building
My wife and I spent 4 nights there while visiting relatives nearby. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a restaurant and lounge on site. The décor is dated and while the rooms are now non-smoking, you can still smell that at one point in time there was smoking allowed. The outdoor pool was very nice but I am guessing not used much in a rainy climate like Olympia has. Wake-up calls are set by the front desk and were completed correctly on 3 of the 4 mornings we were there . . . luckily we woke up on our own and were not too late on the morning our call was missed.

Clean, Comfortable and QuietPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a bit hidden and off the beaten path, but it was very quiet, clean and the rroms were very comfortable. The only issue we had was that although we reserved 7 rooms a couple of weeks in advance, and I stopped by at 10am the morning we were to check in to make sure everything was set up, we still were not all allowed into our rooms until after 5pm! We had babies that needed naps, travelers that had been up almost 24 hours, and all we got was "sorry" your rooms are not all ready. As a matter of fact only 1 room was available until 4pm! Most of our 21 person party sat in their very beautiful lobby for 2 hours waiting for our rooms.
