“Nice hotel”

I was on bicycling tour. Good location, light breakfast and very friendly staff.

A colleague and I stayed at the Shelton Inn for one night during a business trip. The front desk agent was very friendly and welcoming. The room was small but quite comfortably fit 2 queen sized beds. I was most impressed with the cleanliness level. It was spotless, including the corners in the bathroom. The beds were amazingly comfortable. It was very quiet, we both had an excellent nights sleep. The coffee and coffee maker was an added bonus. I recommend the hotel with confidence that you'll enjoy your stay.

“Good for short term business stay”

It is fine. Just what I expected. Good location. Efficient. Clean. No complaints

“OysterFest”

Furniture could have used some spiffing up. Otherwise, it was perfect for a last minute decision to attend OysterFest. Booking directly with the hotel would have saved some money.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Very enjoyable experience. Not an upscale hotel, but very satisfactory in terms of price and amenities. Location is great as well. Small town. Only real draw back was road noise in front of hotel in the early evening hours. There were lots of heavy trucks passing through to the local mill. After sunset it was very quiet, though. Couple running place was very inviting and friendly.

The Shelton Inn is an old motel, but it has been updated and is quite comfortable. It has wireless internet and coffee and tea available in the lobby. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. For its price, it is a good place to stay.

Staff was ok; they didn't go out of there way to be friendly or provide service. Room was clean; we felt comfortable staying there. The hotel is old, but updated. We were on the 2nd floor and it took at least 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Unfortunately, there was very little water pressure. Had a tough time getting the shampoo out of my short hair.
