Rude hotel staffPosted Feb 18, 2014
When being dropped off the front desk/security was rude to the friend dropping us off. Made my friend leave b4 we could get everything off the car. And continued to knock at door to make sure we didn't sneak anyone in later on that night. We checked in at 11 pm and tried to sleep while he continued to "check" the room.

Rather noisey on Friday and Saturday night!Posted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was great, the room was clean, although somewhat aged and used looking...the noise on Friday and Saturday night was awful! It continued until the wee hours of the morning!

Improving upon some details would make it a nicer place to stay. Tissue holder was rusty and loose, shower head must be the cheapest you can buy and wouldn't stay in place, shower curtain could be washed or replaced. The staff were polite and accommodating.

The rooms need a bit of updating! Especially the beds! The room was okay it just wasn't worth the price! Blondies restaurant was very good! The eggs benedict was delicious! Waitresses were very friendly and helpful! Thank you Rose!

Shelton InnPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Definitely a "bargain" hotel. Needs remodeling as carpet is old, mattress not comfortable, and lots of noise from neighborhood.
