Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, nice continental breakfast each morning, quiet, tourist center with things to see and do, friendly staff, and comfortable beds.
Cons: Access to the 2nd floor by elevator. The 2nd floor happens to be the non smoking floor and is only accessible by stairs.
Location: It's right off the main street into Sequim, not far from shopping, restaurants of every kind, and just a ton of stuff to do there.
This is the first time we have stayed at Days Inn. We spent 2 nights and overall it was a great experience. Staff was friendly, the room was clean and it was quiet at night.

Easy location, good rates

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The location, right off the main highway, was easy to find. Staff is friendly & faciluty is clean.
Cons: This was no roadside sign for this place, and it was set back a bit with some tall bushes obscuring the view from the road. We had to double back.
We got great off-season rates. We stayed 2 nights. The morning breakfast was typical for free hotel breakfast. Don't expect anything fancy. We had to go down the road for good coffee. The bed was bouncy, but we were tired, so we slept well anyway.

nice to have an indoor pool

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: good location--easy to get to off the hwy has a "breakfast bar" availiable in the morning
Cons: perhaps the pool could be open 24/7 with adults only (over age 12) from 9pm to 9 am
Location: on edge of Sequim....a casino nearby
arrived too late to use the pool in the evening (after 10 om) but was able to take a morning swim (9 to 10) as I didn't check out until 10:30 am the pool was a comfortable temperature; was also a hot tub availiable but I didn't try this

Nothing like the website.

Posted Sep 3, 2014
The photos on the site don't even come close to reality. The hotel itself smelled of smoke and looked really run down. Our room had water and animal damage to it. I wouldn't stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you are traveling to Sequim, try the Holiday Inn.

its ok

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: see experience
Cons: see experience
Location: Good access to resteraunts
The staff were nice but now entirely "on the ball". When reported to them that the coffee was out during continental breakfast there was only one staff member to deal with it and she seemed overwhelmed since she was tending to other guests. Access to the pool was an issue too. My card keys didnt work on the pool. I was then issued with one that worked only on the pool, and that lasted for only one day. The second time they had to open it for me cause nothing worked. The third time they reprogrammed all three keys for room and pool. It seemed very ineffecient to me. Access is an issue. The motel is on hill above its parking lot. Thier is no "ez" way to the entrance and the hotel has no elevator. A big issue when you have kids and are carrying a lot of stuff.

Value for money

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Nice room for the price. Nice indoor pool. Comfortable beds. Everything was clean and functioning well. Easy for one nights stay. Walls a bit thin so could hear the next room every time they used running water but you get that in many hotels. Breakfast included which was perfectly OK for a continental breakfast.

Pit stop to Olympic with pet

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Staff was friendly. Breakfast minimal.Pet friendly but room needs better cleaning. Stayed in two rooms, both had lots of remnant dog hair on chairs and comforter. Not much choice when traveling with hypoallergenic nonshedding dog and children with dog allergies.
