Come visit Washington if you like to bike & Hike!Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: penthouse deck with a great sunset.
Cons: Staff directions to all the trails in the area. Google search worked better.
Location: Biking is great. The Bear Restaurant is a must but only if you are very hungry. The rates are very fair.Idea, Buy Banana Cream pie to go... Hur. Ridg
Great/ Hotel Yet, staff did not direct us to the several easy , very easy.... bike trails in the area. But we googled. and Wow, the views are great and if you like flat trails with some farm views with cows and poss. eagles flying about. Penthouse deck is a must for sunset. I give it an A for activities and a B for information. Very clean. we did a lot of hiking to 3 beach, 2, and 1 for there. Good plan ... Mark in Seattle.

This hotel a disappointmentPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: The staff and especially the food and presentation
Location: The location is at the end of the town there are better places, more convenient and less money.
When first checking in My husband and I found the staff to not be friendly or informative at all. The room was nice but not any amenities in the hotel. The breakfast is awful, a huge disappointment. They are introducing the "smart breakfast" which they advertise as a big improvement. If what they offer now is an improvement we cannot imagine what they served before. Even the utensils are cheap plastic. The selection of food is so limited and an awful quality. We ended up going out to breakfast. We would not stay there again and the price for what you get is a totally out of line. Not at all what we expected. We stayed at a beautiful Marriott in Seattle for less money.

As expectedPosted Sep 8, 2014
Location: Little to do nearby, but we needed last minute accommodation for the Port Townsend boat festival. Very limited choices for dining!
A last minute trip, this brand name property was well rated and met our needs. There was no wow factor. The rate seemed a bit high.

Great Hotel - so much nicer than we expected.Posted Sep 5, 2014
I booked a quick trip for the weekend and didn't want to spend a lot. I chose this hotel for a lower price, but was surprised to find such a nice place. The staff was polite and professional. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. And the pool was perfect. I would go again.

Ok. Staff said it would take an hour to get to the ferry and it only took 20 minutes.

Can't rate above averagePosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Convenient location.
I can't rate the motel above average. I felt the room cost was high but considering the season and limited amount of motel rooms in the area I guess this was to be expected. The first thing that became a problem was the bed linen was dirty and we had to have it changed. This was done immediately and apologies were offered which we appreciated. An additional frustration was the continental breakfast. The offerings were your standard fare - eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, etc, and your standard rolls, breads & cereals. The problem was that 1) The toaster was broken and only two slots could be used which caused somewhat of a wait for people. I would have thought someone could have run down to a local appliance store and get a replacement. 2) For two of the three days we were there the orange juice dispenser was empty. 3) On the last day, there were no eggs and limited other offerings. I know that these items are not the end of the world but considering the cost of rooms I would expect a little better. The room was quiet and other than the dirty bed linen, there were no other problems to speak of. I do have to say I will have to think long and hard before I would go back to this facility.

What no glasses?Posted Jul 28, 2014
We stayed on the king suite. No glasses. So we bought them in town. Otherwise it was very comfortable. We would stay again!

Great hotel for great pricePosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: All of it.
Cons: Staff could be more knowledgeable about local things to do.
Location: Right at the edge of town and near the cool downtown area, Really close to lavender farms all around, and relatively close to Olympic national park.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable and the overall facilities were all around great.

Convenient location but...Posted Jul 17, 2014
Cons: The water drip from the air conditioning system outside.
It was a nice hotel on the convenient location but we couldn't sleep well at all because the water had been dripping all night at outside of our room's window sill from the air conditioning upstairs. That made the tapping noise all night. It was too bad because everything else was very good including the breakfast.
