“Kalaloch Lodge”

This lodge is very rustic to say the least. With that in mind if you like to clean your own cabin before you settle in--then go for it.

“will return”

The studio cabin was way nicer than what i expected. the service at teh lodge was mediocre as was the food and service at teh restaurant, but when you are as far out as kalaloch, I guess you don't feel like you need to try to impress folks as there is nothing else nearby. The cabins were awesome though. I will definitely return . . . will just plan out my food a little better.

Area recommendations
Pacific Beach is a nice back up if you can't get into kalaloch - try the love shack cabins.

“Love It!”

Kalalaloch Lodge was just what I needed. It was quiet, cozy on a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff was friendly and when the power went out for 4 hours on our full day there they brought us extra wood and candles. Great time!

Area recommendations
The beaches are beautiful. Highly recommend Ruby Beach.
What to pack
Candles and extra wood for the fire place.

“Stop on the Peninsula Loop”

Fantastic location on the beach. There isn't much nearby for dining, and we arrived 10 minutes after the restaurant "closed", They were very accommodating in letting us in. It was nice getting away from the tv. Watch out for high tide.

What to pack
Shoes/sandals for the sand!
Outdoors or beach
Fabulous beach full of large driftwood logs.

“Cozy little cabin”

We stayed in a cozy little cabin over looking the Pacific Coast. The cabin was very clean and well supplies. Our cabin had two rooms, one was equipped with an small kitchen, wood burning stove, sleeper sofa, dining table and an extra bed. The other was a bedroom. The lodge has a restaurant and gift shop. There is also a small store with limited supplies. I would suggest that if you plan an extended stay, buy supplies before arriving. It's a long ways to the nearest town with a good size market. I would highly recommend this location if you enjoy beautiful views and long walks on the beach, also comes with two walking sticks. This location is also pet friendly.

When to go
We traveled the first of September and the weather was wonderful.

“CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK”

HAVE STAYED HERE PREVIOUSLY AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT THIS TIME. LODGE OVERLOOKS THE BEACH AND CABINS ARE FULLY EQUIPPED. RESTAURANT, WHICH ALSO OVERLOOKS THE BEACH, WAS EXCELLENT AND ADDED TO THE EXPERIENCE.

Area recommendations
LOCATION IS IN OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL.
