Great location for visiting the rainforests nearby

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, decoration and comfort.
Location: Hiking at the 3 rainforests - Hoh, Queets and Quinault. Also the Pacific Ocean at nearby Indian reservation with sea stacks and driftwood on shore.
Very friendly at check-in and helpful with answering questions. Nicely decorated room, extremely clean and comfortable. Good restaurants close by. Wonderful experience at the rainforests - Hoh and Quinault for hiking and photography. So unique to experience, even with rain falling.

A nice hotel with some draw backs

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Free internet, the tv, it is clean
Location: It is central to downtown forks so you can easily drive to the hod rainforest, any of the other nearby parks, and drive to Rialto beech.
The hotel room itself was clean and updated. It even had a flat screen tv. The staff was also nice and helpful. However, my room was at the front of the hotel, and since the hotel is right on route 101 that meant I had to hear truck traffic all night. Even with earplugs it was pretty annoying and I didn't get much sleep. Also on the night I stayed the power went out around 8:30 so just went to bed early since I couldn't get anything done. At around 11 it finally came back on and the tv turning on woke me up. The whole thing was a bit annoying. So overall if you need a clean and updated hotel, this would work fine. I would just ask for a room at the back of the hotel and bring your earplugs. You might want to pack a flashlight as well.

Very clean and comfortable stay at Pacific Inn

Posted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: About everything.
Cons: The soap type they provided smells like Pine Sol, which I found unpleasant.
Location: Wilderness activities. Lots and lots of wilderness.
I have to admit that I hadn't stayed in a motel in years, usually opting for fancier hotels. But when I had reason to be in Forks, WA, I found there were not a lot of choices. With misigivings, I booked the Pacific Inn Motel because it was close to where I needed to be. WOW was I ever surprised! This place is better kept and cleaner than the majority of 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The shower was pristine, as was the rest of the room. The bed was comfy and had very cosy Cabella's comforters that felt and smelled fresh. The staff was attentive and helpful. If I ever have to go to Forks again, this is where I will stay. It was like a gem shining in the wilderness. Thank you!

twilight experience

Posted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms--very sanitary bathroom.
Cons: small fridge in room?
Location: 1st beach, 2nd beach, 3rd beach, La Push, Sawmill Museum. Olympic National park 12 miles away, Largest Cedar in North America (look 4 sign down rt 101
We really enjoyed Forks/La Push/Twilight experience...even though we found out that none of the movie or movies were shot in the area. We also were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the Hoh rain forest since the government opened up while we were in Forks. The hotel was extremely clean--I even considered taking a bath in the tub, it was so fresh looking. We rented the "Twilight" room--without telling my daughters--and they freaked out about how great it was to stay in that room in Forks. The staff was very friendly and helpful...and they were nice to each other. It was good to see the teamwork they had! There were restaurants within walking distance with good food. All in all, a good experience.

Expensive for what you got. It was clean and tidy but we'd expect more for the price.

What you would expect from a motel

Posted Sep 30, 2013
We got the Twilight themed room. Not a huge Twilight fan, but it was kinda cool in its own right. A bit overpriced for a motel room, but there was not much availability in town for Labor Day weekend. The room served its purpose. Comfortable and clean enough for 1 night stay.

Nice place. Dull town

Nice place. Clean. Quiet. Nothing more to really ask for in a basic motel. Convenient for day trips to Hoh Rain Forest and the beaches. Not much to do in Forks though. They roll up the sidewalks at 5:00.
