Pros: Great view of Lake Quinault. The restaurant across the street "The Salmon" was very good.
Cons: The rooms need updating.
Location: Great location to enjoy the lake, waterfalls and forest trails hiking.
Okay place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are old, dark and depressing. We stayed out in the balcony most of the time to enjoy the beautiful lake view. The staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms were relatively clean with very thin walls.

Can't wait to go againPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean . It is just a great place to relax and unwind.
Location: There are multiple opportunities to hike for all abilities. Fishing is available at the lake. Boating and swimming in the lake.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gladly helped with information about things to see and do where to hike. The resort is top notch very comfortable and clean. The vies of the lake are terrific. There is something for everyone here.

Beautiful view of the lakePosted Jun 21, 2015
The place is fine. It has clean rooms, kind staff and great views of the lake. My only advice is to bring your cereal and your cooler because the nearest breakfast restaurant is a couple of miles away and there aren't any refrigerators in the rooms.

Beautiful view of the lake!Posted Jun 17, 2015
We stayed in cabin #8, which has a beautiful view of Lake Quinault. The room itself was comfortable (nothing to write home about) but we absolutely loved being able to relax on our front porch and watch the sunset over the lake. We were so glad that we ended up staying at the Rain Forest Village Resort because we had our own outdoor living space, which made it feel much more private than the beautiful but buzzing Lake Quinault Lodge accommodations.

Basic accomodation in a great location.Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: The location and view and friendly staff.
Cons: Just needs a bit of an update and makeover really.
Location: See above. Thye trails are pick-and-mix to anything up to a 8 or 9 miles hike - all through beautiful rain forest, or you could swim in the lake.
The Resort Village is basic and a little tired, but serves it's purpose. It's in a stunning location on the shores of Lake Quinault and there are some great trails just behind it through the gorgeous Quinault temperate rain forest. Our preference would be to spend quite a bit more and stay in the Quinault Lodge, but that was full on this occasion. The room we were in was motel-style but had a stunning view over the lake, which was just a couple of hundred feet away. No fridge, a 4-channel TV, slightly unreliable Wifi and tired fittings and fixtures, but comfortable ancd reasonable value for money.

Good place to stayPosted May 22, 2015
Hotel is somewhat dated, room with living room was spacious, clean. Walking trails start right next to the hotel. It is situated right on the lake with great views. Adjacent restaurant Salmon Room served excellent dinner

Hike out the back doorPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Proximity to hiking; waterfalls; spectacular view; easy drive to the Pacific.
Cons: We would have liked to have been able to make a few meals in the room - a microwave would have been nice. There are VERY few restaurants nearby.
Location: Hiking was fantastic; easy drive to the beach areas of Olympic Nat. Park. Bring your camera.
Gorgeous setting adjacent to miles of hiking trails through the Quinault Rainforest. Lowest priced accommodations I could find in the area. View from our room's balcony was over the lake to the mountains beyond, just spectacular. Not at all fancy, just a warm and dry room in a great location. The room was quite large - advertised as a queen, but also included a couch, multiple chairs.... We spent five days there and did not feel crowded.
