This lodge is such a relic from the past which adds to the serene landscape right out your room window. Unbelievable older retro rooms in the best condition than I could imagine, being the age of the motel and PNW moisture. It’s like stepping back in time and leaving the busy world in which we live in hundreds of years away. I will definitely return again for future visits and recommend this wonderful lodge to many others. Prime location for Olympic NP beaches, just a few steps to nature trails and the Quinault Lake. Office provides a gift shop and store for all your needs. They even have their own little post office adjacent to office. Just to add a plus, a restaurant with full bar just across the road ( steps away as well). Perfect vacation!!! I loved it here & will be back. :)

The staff are super nice. However, the rooms are very outdated, the heat/ac unit is very loud, and the frogs outside the room are also too loud. It was very hard to sleep at night due to all the factors.

Located in beautiful rain forest area. We were facing the lake and mountain and could sit inside or outside for a wonderful view. Excellent restaurant across the street. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was March so there weren't big crowds around. A trail through the woods leaves behind the property and you can do whatever loops you would like. It was a short walk to a huge Sitka Spruce tree. The nature trail a couple of miles away has spectacular big trees.

I love this place. It’s as close as you can get to camping with the peace and quiet and lack of cell service. But there is a warm has fire and a kitchen to cook warm food. And then eat looking out at the lake. You don’t really ever need to get in your car again as there are miles of trails starting right at the resort. Customer service is awesome. Facilites are a little worse for wear but the price is right and the location precious so not an issue for me.

Awesome place to stay!
The view waking up in the morning was absolutely amazing! So peaceful and the sound of animals in the morning was awesome. I wish we would've booked this for a few days and were able to stay for a week and explore the park more, but we were on a weekend trip and did a bunch of the smaller hikes and drove around and saw a bunch of the main attractions. Everything was within driving distance and the owner was accommodating to me showing up a little after they were closing. So I'm appreciative of that.

The staff here is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back to see the Quinault area in a different season. Beautiful hiking areas nearby and the Salmon House restaurant was really good.

The area was beautiful! The staff was nice. The room needs some major updating,most importantly,replacing the carpet. The smell was pretty awful in the room. The only restaurant on the property was extremely over priced! The $10 salad was the smallest side salad I have ever had. The restaurant could use updating as well. The burger was good. We would not stay here again.

Just ideal
A wonderfully tranquil retreat to stay in whilst we circumnavigated the national park. we were welcomed by the manager ( Ian ) who explained the details of our stay which included a visit to the neighbouring restaurant for a superb meal.

This was a very convenient and accessible location for exploring Olympic National Park, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Lake Crescent, and Sieku and surrounding coastal areas. The Yurt met expectations as any “camper cabin” rental.

the restaurant advertised in the ad is not operated by the hotel and doesnt open till 4pm. also the office doesnt open until 9am and there are zero food options for breakfast. the rooms and furniture are very outdated for the price....Not worth staying

Loved this place. Room was rustic and cozy with a balcony facing a beautiful lake. Don’t expect Hilton hotel amenities because this place is in the rainforest which is what we were looking for. The place is very quiet and clean surrounded by beauty. There is a restaurant across the road where we had some delicious spaghetti and meatballs. There is also a general store next door. Lots of beautiful trails within walking distance. Definitely recommend.

Carpet was very old textured ( no tellling what has been spilled) bed spreads were dark multi colored fabric ( again no telling what has been spilled or other). 17 inch tv that got 4 channels…. Ian was super nice when I checked in .. the property is kind of old and tired…. The cabins looked to be nicer but we did not look inside

It is an inn in the middle of a national park so never going to be super luxurious but it meets all your needs. Easy, friendly check-in; the salmon house restaurant is better than might be expected but portions very large; scenery wonderful and the park/forest trails cater for all-short to long walks of varying difficulty.

Lovely lakeside cabin on the lake. Comfortable but noisy with traffic close to cabin. Wonderful staff, fantastic restaurant, and just gorgeous.

We stayed in one of the cabins. Dated and well used. That said, rural area right off the Lake Quinault . Very quiet, dark at night. Lovely environment. Nice porch - one perfect to sit on, drink your morning coffee and watch the ripples on the lake. Amazing food at the Salmon House on site. Equipped with the basics. Decent bed. Good base for a trip to the rain forest.

Very outdated facility. The sheets had lots of hairs on it, as if it wasn't changed from the previous guest. They replaced it immediately when I told them, but still, these things are not supposed to happen in the first place
