Cabin was comfortable

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Location: - swimming - boating - hiking
We stayed in the studio cabin #1. It was centrally located, and provided a great view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again. Pros: - great lake view - cabin offered a lot of privacy - there weren't a ton of people coming and going - Salmon House restaurant had great dinner - microwave and mini-fridge in the room - right next to the lake and hiking trails Cons: - no A/C in the rooms, just a fan (we closed all of the blinds before we left for the day to keep the room cool) - the water in the shower changed temperatures very quickly

Very nice location, even though close to the main street not much traffic, couch very uncomfortable for sleeping, no breakfast, no fridge for your own breakfast

Can't beat the lake views and the lush rainforest trails that run right behind the resort.

Calming place, comfy cabins, great location

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Beautiful setting. Charming cabins.
Cons: The property should offer recycling and healthier food options at the grocery store
Location: Lots of giant trees to visit. The World's Largest Spruce Tree is on the property. There are also plenty of nice walks/hikes that are nearby
We traveled here from Lake Crescent and it was a night and day difference. While Lake Crescent was noisy, bustling and crowded, this location and its charming hotel/cabins/campground were quiet and peaceful. We took our plastic deck chairs out to the lake and sat under the big trees in the afternoon as the staff at the grocery store on the property suggested. It was fabulous. We had a cabin (#1) that had a partial view of the water. Ours had a queen bed, a small frig, a microwave, coffee pot, fireplace and porch. There are larger cabins (5 and 6) that look directly out over the lake and offer more room. Our cabin was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the end of our vacation. Aside from a small grocery (which should offer more healthy options including Vegan and Vegetarian items) there is also a restaurant. My only other suggestion is that they should offer recycling. This is a pristine setting and we should all work to keep it that way. I would definitely recommend the Rainforest Resort Village if what you're looking for is a quiet setting, near loads of great walking trails, and in a more off-the-beaten-path location.

Peace, quiet, water and forest.

Pros: Location, spacious grounds, lack of crowds, excellent room.
Cons: Price.
Location: Lake activities, hiking in the rainforest are fantastic.
Our late June Tuesday stay was uncrowded. The one bedroom suite with a walkout deck view of Lake Quinault was well furnished and sparkling clean. The lake and rainforest with hiking paths was magical. Highly recommended.

Pros: Location is wonderful
Cons: A little dated but surroundings make up for it.
