Very convenient to beach and mountains

Hotel has the feel of 50s family resort. Comfortable but not posh. Breakfast was fair but dinner is excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the walking path along the beach area.

Close to water

Posted Jul 29, 2015
This was a very nice hotel near the water and ferries. Unfortunately, we just needed a place to sleep and shower, so for those purposes it was pricey. Wish we had more time to enjoy the pool and shops and restaurants within walking distance. Evening staff was super helpful when our keys wouldn't work. Morning staff didn't really want to be there.

Too many extra fees, no breakfast, had to get keys programed 3 times. Experience a hassle.

Pleasant Stay

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Location was nice & convenient. Rooms were nice size & beds were comfortable.
We arrived late & the girl at the front desk was very nice & helpful. The room was a nice size & clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room overlooked the water which was very nice, we were leaving early the next morning so we weren't there for very long. But we were very happy for the short time we were there.

Nice location, a little pricey.

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Nice flat screen TV. The air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The place looks it's age. The lobby carpet looks like it's from the 70's, but the room is updated. I think it's a little over priced.
Location: The location is excellent, close to restaurants.
Check in and check out were quick. It was a good location next to the ferry landing. We had a nice walk after dinner.

Close to the beach

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Close to the water and in town. All of the staff were very pleasant.
Cons: have more staff available, Chair and ottoman in the bedroom were stained and dirty
Check in was a disaster. We waited inline at least 30 minutes, then another 10 checking in. They were understaffed. The young woman was very sweet, but was also answering the phone, dealing with other staff members and trying to check us in. We had asked for two rooms upstairs which she had in the computer, but by the time she got to click the final button another agent had snagged them for people who were originally three places behind us in line. The included buffet breakfast was poor, another time I would not take that option and would order fresh off the menu.

Drains in both sink and shower not functioning. Old smell due to carpet? In hallways. Staff were very nice, convenient to ferry service to Victoria.
