“Go Port Angeles”

This Red Lion was very comfortable and it was great to have a harbor view. That was definitely worth the extra charge. The restaurant was pleasant and the service may have been slow but the servers were friendly. Room service was okay.

“Would stay there again!”

Although past reviews weren't too promising, we decided to stay at Red Lion and are very glad we did! We upgraded to a water-side view-it was absolutely beautiful! Everything about the room was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean and roomy,service was great! Front desk people were very polite asnd helpful. We ate at other than the hotel restaurant, so I can't say how it was. However, it always seemed busy. We would definitely stay there again!

“Worth the few extra dollars”

This hotel is right on the water. Although there was a mix-up with our room the first night, the staff more than made up for our inconvenience by giving us an ocean front room at a discount to make up for the inconvenience. Great location, great view, friendly staff and a fabulous restaurant on site. I travel to Port Angeles every June for the marathon, and this was the first time I stayed here. Although it is a little more money per night, it is DEFINITELY worth every penny!

“PA with a view”

I brought my family to the RedLion in Port Angeles and had a great time. The walking/biking trial in front of the hotel was a plus and the water view was fantastic. Service was great on all fronts. The location was perfect where we can walk to many different restaurants. We had a quiet room with a great view of the water.

“Quiet Stay”

My husband and I stayed just one night, in anticipation of taking the ferry to Victoria the next day. We decided not to take the day trip to Victoria due to the limited times the ferry ran. With time on our hands, we did not find much to do in the town. Unfortunately, it was Sunday so many shops were closed. However, being right on the water was awesome, the room was quiet and comfy, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The only negative was staying on the 2nd floor with heavy bags and no elevator, but it worked out fine. We would stay here again if our schedule permitted a trip to Victoria or the San Juan Islands via ferry.

This hotel is very comfortable and has nice ammenties. The staff is always very friendly and the room service is nice.

Very nice and comfortable room. The front desk/reception service could be more organized and more friendly. However, it was a very nice hotel experience. I definitely recommend it.

“Tops in Port Angeles”

The comfort and updated decor of The Red Lion was a pleasant suprise for us on our recent visit. The staff was very friendly and accomadating in the wake of a terrible storm which had them recovering from power outages and clean-up. Even the restaurant exceeded our expectations - the breakfasts were lovely and very large in portions.
