Stayed for all the amenities and things to do.

Pros: Everything you need is within the same complex.
Always good to catch a hotel/casino during the week. There is always good food.

Really disappointed. Just your average room advertised as a suite. Next time I will save money & stay at the Holiday Inn next door.

Nice Place

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: We thought the food was excellent.
Location: The casino was nice and fun if you like that sort of thing. It was close to the expressway and easy access to other restaurants.
The staff was accommodating. The food in the sports bar was excellent, as was the service. The room was comfortable and clean.

Family fun.

It was a well kept hotel with excellent food restraints to pick from. Hotel staff was friendly and answer to problems in a timely manner.

Casino Hotel

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: It's close proximity to the Mid-America Center
Cons: Stop the smoking from being allowed indoors
Location: I was there for a conference at the Mid America Center and didn't have time to venture further than the casino and the center.
The only bad thing I have to say is that it smelled of cigarette smoke

Cons: They need to improve the air quality. There is really no filtering of the smoke from the casino.
The room was spacious. The beds were great. The shower was excellent.

Fun weekend

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Easy access to casino
Cons: Heating/cooling in room. Quality of bathroom toilet paper.
Location: Shopping, zoo, Omaha
After all was said and done, Ameristar Hotel and Casino is a place I'd stay and play again. Costs more than bigger gambling establishments but within a days drive from home. I wasn't impressed with the buffet, didn't like the food, and once again I thought the price was high for the quality. I will stay there again in the future, but most likely eat either in the Cafe or somewhere else.

Snow storm in Omaha.

Posted Feb 16, 2015 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay. We are from Lincoln, NE. We were leaving for California Feb 4. A snow storm was coming that day. We spent the night before at the Ameristar in Omaha. Their free shuttle took us to the airport We had plenty time to get our plane leaving at 6:45am. Had fun at the casino also.
