“Anniversary Weekend”
We stayed two nights in a standard room with king sized bed. I had requested a spa tub in the room but did not receive it as we checked in a couple hours past check in time. The buffet is excellent for breakfast, definitely not your typical hotel breakfast. The hotel's location is a coin-toss from all of Old Market's shops and restaurants. The parking is an attached, covered garage which is $10 a day. The pool area was very clean. The hot tub was extremely hot, so we advised the front desk that it needed to be lowered because no one could stand to get in it!!
“Good place to relax”
After 2 long days of seminars and walking, it was good to get back and relax in a nice, comfortable room. No complaints at all.
“Great value and location”
The hotel is conveniently located a short walk to Old Market. The complimentary shuttle van took us and picked us up at various locations including the airport, zoo and Creighton University so we didn't need a rental car. Cooked-to-order breakfast on the first floor was included in our package and a great value. Beds were very comfortable. Spencer's steakhouse connected to hotel lobby had delicious steaks, house chopped salad and sides.
“Good Location”
Very easy walk to restaurants in the Old Market and events at the Quest Center. Hotel was a bit more money than we usually spend, but the quality and location benefit were probably worth the extra cost.
“Beautiful experience in the Old Market!”
This is a gorgeous hotel. Large enough to provide space and stature, small enough to be comfortable. Walking access to surrounding attractions including the cobblestone streets of the charming old market, a pedestrian bridge, the Qwest center and several pubs and restaurants. The fee for parking bothered us, as we are accustomed to hotels providing that amenity free of charge. But, don't let that damper your stay, as once you park your car, you can walk easily everywhere.
“Beautiful hotel, excellent service”
Beautiful hotel and short walk to Omaha's downtown park and Old Market area. The service was perfect.
“Hilton's are generally very nice hotels...but NOT this one if it snows or is going to snow.”
This hotel is unfortunately where the snow plows all gather in between their plowing tours. We did not sleep a wink with the constant starting and stopping of engines, and constant idling of the diesel trucks present. There is a divider that separates the two lanes out front where the trucks and plows congregate all night. Absolutely ridiculous when it snows. If you see the snow falling or the forecast calls for snow book somewhere else...unless you do not plan on sleeping. Especially for the rooms facing the front of the hotel ,even if ear plugs would have worked the constant vibrations from the plows was terrible. If that's not enough be prepared for housekeeping to knock on the door at about 9:15-9:30am.
“Very nice - would recommend to everyone”
This hotel was beautiful from the lobby to the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The proximity to everything downtown was great! We went for a walk down by the water, walked a few blocks downtown to see the newly hung Christmas lights, which were gorgeous, and went to a few unique shops. Back at the hotel, a restaurant called Spencers was FANTASTIC! Food was pretty expensive but definitely worth it. Hotel staff had given us coupons for free dessert or drink, which was really nice. Can't say enough good things about our stay there!
“Excellent”
Had a great stay at this hotel. Clean, friendly, especially the breakfast crew in the AM, 1 block from Old Market, made to order breakfast outstanding.
“Referal to friends”
Upon returning from our short getaway to the hotel, we immediately text messaged our friends who were deciding upon where to spend their 10th wedding anniversary. Without a doubt we proclaimed - you MUST stay at this accommodation as it provides wonderful room / hotel amenities, it's clean, quite and professionally managed at ALL service levels - not to mention you can park your car for the length of your stay and walk to the Old Market to engage in all the wonderful dinning and shopping opportunities.
