Noisy, booked for wrong night, ran out of food

Our reservation was booked for wrong night, kids running up and down the hallways til 1230am and started again at 630am. Rantoul of breakfast 45 mins before it was supposed to be over.

Awesome hotel for family

We loved the holiday Inn with the Waterpark. We are a family of six and we can't always afford such a place but this time we saved a little extra and it was great.

clean, new, but still not enough to justify cost

Hotel is a bit difficult to find due to the way signage is arranged, especially when arriving from the airport as I did. There is not a great deal of parking at the hotel and the spaces are pretty tight; this I learned early on as my rental car was bumped by another patron's door. The staff was always courteous and the room very nice/spacious, although the mattress seemed a lot softer that I care for. The hotel's restaurant is undergoing reservation at this time, so breakfast was limited to a small buffet in a conference room. Breakfast was supposed to be included in my booking with hotels.com, but I did not receive vouchers for breakfast when I checked in; I had to address this with a manager one morning in order to get it remedied. Aside from Ameritrade Park and a few other hotels, there's nothing notable in immediate proximity to the facility, though downtown Omaha isn't far away and it doesn't take long to get onto the freeway if you need to go elsewhere. All in all, it was a reasonably nice place to stay, but I don't know that it met my expectations given the price.

Omaha Holiday Inn

Parking is very congested, could also have signs out at street entrance directing to Hotel parking area. Restraunt was closed, so had to drive quite aways to find place to eat in late evening. Breakfast buffet is quite expensive and at very least could offer free coffee to guests in lobby, not just the mini coffee maker in room. The pool area was ok, but not great. Was overpriced for the accomadations and amenities, just should have been more. Though the room, bed & pillows were clean & comfortable, doubt I would stay there again unless the price was less.

Very good location to attractions and shopping

Loved the water park, close to Old Town market/downtown, easy access to the Zoo and Children's Museum, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Going through a little renovation and new sports bar but we will definitely be back.

My only complaint that there was no eating establishment other than the small coffee bar. Two of my family members met me there. Nether the Holiday Inn or Hampton (next door) had any eating facilities open.
