The front desk staff was rude, long lines at check-in, the old hotel had little character and charm like we had hoped. Just an old hotel...The cookies and milk at night were what my son loved the most. The breakfast was really good, lots of variety, but never any room to sit in the dining area and the staff didn't want to bring out extra chairs to sit at the bar because it would block the line to the buffet, but there wasn't ever a line! Valet was convenient and efficient.

Pros: Our total experience was great from check-in to check-out. Friendly helpful staff too.
Location: Walking distance to Old Market.
Stayed one night at the Magnolia. Enjoyable wine and beer happy hour. Walking distance to The Boiler Room for dinner. Milk and cookie treat before bed. Filling breakfast in the morning.

A few blocks from the Old Marke, Great dining and night life. The hotel lounge is amazing! Free happy hour from 5:30-6:30pm. The breakfast is free and delicious!

Awesome building and a great staff. The only complaint I have is the shower curtains. They don't really work and I end up cleaning up water that's escaped after I bathe. Maybe it's just me since I'm an enormous man. Some would say freakish. Next time you find yourself lucky enough to be in Omaha, Nebraska do yourself a favor and book a room at the magnolia.

Very nice hotel in an older building. Great free happy hour and breakfast. Staff very helpful. Room was a little dark. The beds were small and hard. The bathroom was also small. Nice that they had a 24 hour shuttle to anywhere you needed to go, but you need to be prepared to wait anywhere from 20 minutes to a hour for the return trip.
