Very nicePosted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Pretty well everything.
Cons: More blankets!
Location: Turning Stone casino and lots of history nearby.
I enjoyed my stay here. It's not my first time, the upgrades are beautiful and certainly should be rated as a three at least. Staff is friendly and pleasant. Restaurants very close by and grocery store across the street.

Convenient and adequate continental breakfast.Posted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Convenient location and price OK. TV, air conditioning, and shower were all good. Also liked having a microwave and refrigerator.
Cons: It is what it is for the price. Not much to improve upon for the price.
Location: Chittenango Falls State Park; Stone Quarry Art Park; Oneida Lake; Old Erie Canal Historical Park; lots of good nature & historical sites.
The motel staff was nice. The room was satisfactory. The beds were not that comfortable; just OK. The bathroom sink's water spout was strange. You had to pull out on it and it would fly out of the spigot and the "hot" and "cold" were reverse of how it was labeled. The shower was good. TV was good. I like that they provide a microwave and small refrigerator. Air conditioning worked fine and was not too noisy.

just needed a place to sleepPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very satisfied with the kind staff and really just need a place to sleep and shower. They were very accomodating to get us our room early as we were WAY early for check in. They got us into our room by 8:30 am. It would have been soon but the hotel was fully occupied.

Good staff, stingy hotel management style.Posted Aug 9, 2013
Cons: Empower the staff to Spenser a buck.
Location: Not relevant to this review.
This is an OK overnight stay hotel. The rooms are no frills and the staff ifs friendly and congenial. However, the employee authority is very limited. For example, I left some personal paperwork in the room after I had checked out. When I was about a thousand miles from the hotel, I contacted the desk clerk by telephone and requested that the paperwork be sent to my home. He had to refer the request to a higher hotel manger and I had to call the manager back after he came on duty. The hotel manager would not mail the requested personal paperwork with out first receiving an pre stamped, addressed envelope. I'm OK with paying for the postage but the requirement for me to send them the pre posted envelope was a bit of a turn off. I may not stay there in the future just because the front dest clerk was not allowed to handle the situation and spend a dollars worth of postage. Effective employees are empowered employees. Effective employees promote return customers.
