“Ontario Hilton”
Pretty decent for an aiport hotel but even though the hotel's been remodeled, it's still an older hotel. Was excited about healthy choices on room service menu but when server came to my room, order had been substituted with what they had because they were out of the items on the menu...should have been told before the food arrived so I could change my choice.
“there were surprises”
made our res. through expedia. no prob there. when we arrived at the hotel we were told that there was a $10.75 parking fee. this was not the ritz to be charging for parking surprise 1. surprise 2 was after we checked out we found a hold for a certain amount to be held for 3+ days before being returned to our acct. surprise 3 the morning breakfast is not free or offered to expedia guests such as us. it should be offered to anyone that books a stay at this hotel no matter who its through. the hotel should not pick and choose who they give it to but they do. other than that the hotel was nice and clean and comffy.
“Great Service”
Great service and food
“very pleasant stay”
I have been comimg to Ontario to attend graduate classes for 2 days. sixteen hours of class in 2 days is intense, and all I want is room service, a comfortable bed, a good shower and a tv. Got it all. The breakfast buffet was great. I am stayint there this coming weekend. That says it all.
“An okay stay for an Okay price.”
The Hyatt is a way better experience. Same price, better rooms by far! Hilton is okay, clean, new looking, but I imagine older people would stay here who don't care too much about little nuances like design and color. No comp breakfast either. A whole lot of international groups too having conventions, meetings and that sort of vibe.
“Buyer Beware!”
Overall, I was pleased with the hotel. It had nice grounds, the room was a nice size, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The only drawback was the staff at the front desk. I booked this particular hotel because it clearly stated it included the breakfast buffet. When I approached the front-desk to receive the coupon for breakfast, I was told dryly “Well, when you book with Expedia or Priceline or sites like that, breakfast isn’t included”. So I said my confirmation clearly stated breakfast was included. I had to go to my car to find the confirmation I printed out. When I showed them the confirmation where IN BOLD it states “Includes Breakfast Buffet”, I was still told, “Well, it doesn’t include it when you book with Expedia, That’s an error”. I then stated that it’s not my concern if it’s an error. It clearly states it’s included and it should be honored. That was the reason why I booked the hotel. After going back and forth, I was about to ask for the manger when they finally accepted it and gave me the breakfast coupon. However, they did make a copy of my confirmation for the manger to call Expedia to further discuss. At least Ruby, who works at blu restaurant where the breakfast buffet was, made up for what they lacked. She was very sweet and very helpful. The two women at the front desk could stand to learn from her about proper manners and great customer service!
“Hilton Ontario Airport”
It was a nice enough hotel - a little older and dated, but okay overall. A little disappointed that we were on the ground floor with a sliding glass door that led outside. If I weren't with my boyfriend, I would have been uneasy. But the room was very large and the beds, linens and pollows were very comfortable. Also nice to have a restaurant in the hotel with a buffet breakfast - we were only there one night and on a time crunch, so everything was super convenient. Would probably stay there again.
“Convenient to Citizens Bank Arena”
Perfectly fine Hilton Hotel. Don't agree with charging $15 to park in their huge parking lot. But otherwise a nice stay and convenient to the arena nearby. Within walking distance of it. Especially convenient for beer drinkers !
“What, no free internet access”
The hotel was better than I expected. The only downside was that there was a charge for internet access. It felt almost like a scam as most people, in my experience, using airport hotels are business people staying for less than 24 hrs. (My stay was 9.5 hrs)The fee was 10.99 for 24 hrs and I felt ripped off having to pay for access.
“Service remains a tradition”
Multiple stays for business and pleasure at the Hilton Ontario Airport support the maxim that service remains a tradition with this brand. While the ranks of hotel staff are notably leaner at this property than in years past, chalk that up to the Inland Empire's economy, dearth of nearby convention traffic, and a problematic lender-owner relationship if the press is to be believed. Nonetheless, restaurant staff are eager to please (tip them well...they work really hard) and when repairs to a frozen door lock one evening caused a relocation to another room, the night manager helped move our "stuff" and comp'd breakfast without a hint that we wanted anything. Parking is a bit of a mystery: $20 one stay, $11 the next, free on others. Trivial issue, though.
