Hotel convenient to freeway.

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Conveniently located, nice decor, spacious room.
Cons: Replace worn furniture, repair chips in wood furniture; ensure that the room is FULLY ready for guest, with enough towels, a hairdryer, iron, glasses.
Location: We were there specifically for a family wedding and only went to a CVS Pharmacy during our stay. Many shopping areas were conveniently located.
The room was nice enough as far as size and furnishings go. However, we had to ask for towels to be replenished, a hairdryer, an iron, and drinking glasses. We had a "Suite", which was nice on the surface. However, it was showing wear and tear (the rolling desk chair had wobbly arms and torn covering, chips in wood furniture). The air conditioner in the bedroom didn't work; the knobs were removed. The faucet in the kitchenette was hard to operate. The hotel overall just seemed to need some rejuvenating. Other than that, the lobby and rooms were nicely decorated, with some nice features, such as the outdoor patio. It was nice to be able to catch a quick, free breakfast, too.

Hot Mess!

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The rooms were nice and modern and the location was good.
Cons: The customer service. They need a more professional staff. The girl at the front desk was eating and drinking water while she was assisting me.
Location: The location is convenient to the airport and to the mall.
I decided to stay at this hotel because my parents have stayed at the hotel a few times and enjoyed the hotel. I prepaid for my hotel through expedia and when I got to the hotel, they gave away my room. I arrived to the hotel about 30 minutes after check in time. I had to wait for the front desk clerk to find me another room. The room she provided me with was incomplete. There were no towels, no refridgerator, no iron and most importantly the elevator did not work. That is right, the elevator did not work from Saturday to Tuesday. I had to walk up to the third floor. I complained to the front desk and she said she is willing to give me a discount or a partial refund, but I had to contact expedia since I booked the hotel through them. On Sunday I received a broken iron and the fridge. I had to request another iron that took half a day to receive. On my last night there the bathroom was crawling with ants. It took someone an hour to come to our room to assist us. When I got back home I contacted expedia to get a partial refund. When expedia contacted the hotel, the said I could not get a refund! I was soooo freaking mad. I was initial told by the front desk I could get a partial refund, now the hotel was going back on their word. Finally, expedia was able to assist me with a partial refund. I was on the phone with expedia for 3 hours literally. I would not stay at this hotel again. I understand things happen, but the service I received turned my off to the 10th power!

Horrible amenities...

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The easy on and off location to freeway I-10
Cons: New management, customer relations, amenties.
Location: get on freeway and head out
Elevator stopped working second day of our stay; no coffee cups; no soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions (had to beg for them), ants all over the counter, no microwave, no refrigerator (had to buy a Styrofoam one to chill our goodies); and breakfast consisted of cereal, yogurt, coffee, mini-cupcakes, juice, some breads. No newspapers to buy or complimentary. Hotel staff usual response to every question was "I dunno."

Nice hotel for the price and close to shopping and restaurants. The check in process was a little slow and the elevators were broken but we were only on the second floor and the rest of the hotel was really nice!

Kiind staff, but facility was limited

Posted Sep 1, 2014
1 Consistent issues getting wash cloths 2. Outlets that didn't work 3. No refrigerator initially, they eventually had one delivered 4. Breakfast had limited options. 5. Dirty pool 6. Personnel was kind & professional.
