Rica Victoria Hotel is centrally located in the popular main pedestrain street "Storgaten". The town is known for its charming old wooden houses. The hotel's location makes it an ideal base for enjoying the many activities and attractions that Lillehammer and the surrounding area have to offer.

The hotel was built in 1872, and the rooms in the oldest wing retain the character and features of that time, with warm and cosy colours. The hotel has several suites. All rooms have modern furnishings with TV, telephone, radio, minibar, shower/bath and toilett.

“Great Location”
We stayed at this hotel for one night while on our travels. We had a heck of a time finding the hotel even though we had driven by it twice before realizing it was the place we were looking for. It's not very well marked. At any rate, once we located the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. Check in was quick and easy. When we got to our room we discovered we had been given a suite so our room was very large- the biggest room we'd had on our entire trip! The furnishing were a bit dated and the bed was a bit difficult to get in and out of, with the mattress being sunk down into a frame- but it was comfortable once we were settled in. I believe we were the only ones staying in the wing of the hotel so it was very quiet. Great location for walking around the city. Lillehammer itself doesn't have much to offer so we strolled up and down the streets but being late in the afternoon it wasn't long before the shops were closing up for the day. Parking at the hotel was convenient although didn't seem like there were a lot of spaces compared to how big the hotel was. Breakfast was very good but there was a German tour group there at the same time so they took up most of the dining room. They were a bit rude as well- so we didn't enjoy the breakfast as much as we could have. All in all, we would definitely stay here again if we ever happen to be in Lillehammer in the future.m
