“Great place to stay while visiting Disneyland.”

If you're coming here for the hotel experience you are at the wrong place. If you want a comfortable place to sleep with good service during your visit to Disneyland, this may be for you! AC is loud, fridge great for keeping stores of water and food, hot tub was comfortable.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel. We stayed in July of 2005 and now in July of 2006. My husband's family comes over from Denmark and we always spend a few days in the Los Angeles area doing the tourist attractions there and we have all been very satisfied with the Fantasy Inn & Suites. It's extremely affordable and I don't ever leave feeling negative about what I paid for what I got. No, it's not a ritzy place. It's a clean, comfortable room with a good AC unit, a decent shower, and a clean, inviting pool. It's handy to all of LA and extremely close to Disney's main gate. You can even see the Disney fireworks from the parking lot. The owners/staff are always accommodating and helpful and if there is a problem and you tell them, they are very responsive. No one gets annoyed with giving extra towels and the continental breakfast (tang, coffee, and sweet rolls) is sparse, but it's also not disgusting and it's usually your prelude to a big breakfast at IHOP or Denny's anyway, so who really cares? This year, when we were making plans with the family, they specifically asked if we were staying at the same hotel. We have not had a bad visit there yet and we've been there a grand total of 9 days. I would highly recommend the hotel and I will definitely try to stay there again.

“Cheap Hotel but nice View”

Hotel is what you would expect for the price range. Was pleasently surprised by the size of the room as it was huge. It is not fancy but it is everything that it advertises. Good & clean and very good location.

“Had a blast and real close to Disney”

For an older hotel it's very nice, the TV service sucked but we weren't there for the TV. The people at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. When we go back we're staying there again. It was only a ten minute walk to all the Disney fun. And being from Florida having the ability to not have to drive and park was a big plus.

“A good bargain”

This motel is exactly what it is, a reasonably priced older motel. It was clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. It was an easy walk to the park, ample parking and the pool and hot tub were clean and we used them every day. The first part of our 6 day stay was great as it was very quiet, however once the place filled up it was a little noisier. A room on the upper floor is recommended if noise concerns bother you. We were on the lower floor and did hear the people upstairs alot but we didn't bother complain or move rooms. There were only two downsides, the tv was terrible, very few english channels with extremely bad reception and the breakfast was a choice of cheap danish or doughnut, coffee, orange juice and apples. The fidge and microwave in the room were a great plus, two nights we saved by being able to reheat leftovers from the previous nights restaurant food. We used the free internet but my son was upset to find that the firewall would not let him play his online game, every other place we stayed he was able to access his game.

Very nice place to stay with a professional and courteous staff. Reasonable price for large well supplied room (microwave and mini-fridge). Fairly short walk to Disneyland and close to places to eat. Even though they were remodeling much of the hotel during our stay and it was still very quiet.

we had a great stay. we choose this hotel because it is close to the convention center. I liked that the rooms were suites, as i was staying with a co worker. staff was helpful, and rooms were clean, but not fancy. we didn't spend much time in the room, and appreciated the coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. i felt this was a safe location as well. i would definitely stay there again.
