Great BedPosted Nov 8, 2013
The room was perfectly cleaned and presented. Very nicely appointed with a great TV. We have been staying at the Ayers in Orange for several years and are rarely disappointed. Only thing we missed was the happy hour but with the current state of the economy, we understand. The bed was dead on perfect. Both my husband and I did not want to get up. We both got the best night's sleep in quite some time.

Exceeded expectationsPosted Nov 4, 2013
Location: I stayed here while attending a conference at the Hyatt Regency for about half the price. The Hyatt was about 2 miles straight down the road.
Everything about this hotel was very good. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was very nice. There was some construction going on during the middle of the day, but it was not unbearable at all. The free hot breakfast was good. The front desk had cookies, coffee, and water available during most of the day, also complimentary. There was plenty of parking. The location of the hotel did cause me to have to make a U-turn most of the time to get into, but it was never a problem.

Pros: Rooms comfortable, staff friendly, home made cookies served at 4 yummy and free breakfast was the best!
Location: Orange outlet has the best shopping--Nordstrom Rack, Saks off 5th --great outlet shopping. We actually came to UCI and this is very close.
This is a wonderful place to stay, convenient to Disneyland, a huge outlet , places to eat. Reasonably priced and very pleasant. Nicely decorated for Halloween.

The hotel has a good location and ambiancePosted Oct 30, 2013
Cons: The staff at the front desk when we arrive are excellent but during our stay, rest of the staff does not even smile or greet.
Location: very near to disney, mall, highway to access other cities and airport (John Wayne)
Staying at Ayres is ok experience. If they put bit effort on guest service - as being courteous and friendly it would be a different review.

Don't accept a room near a stairwell!Posted Oct 28, 2013
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit dated but fairly big with comfy beds. Things were going well until the second night when I woke up at 3 a.m. to a strong smell of cigarette smoke in our room and voices in the hall. When I complained in the morning the staff told me that sometimes people go into the stairwells to smoke! I was surprised we weren't offered a different room, were just told to call the front desk if it happened again. The hotel provides a hot breakfast which was a bit of a zoo. We didn't use the pool area as it was very small and basic. The hotel is a fair distance from Disney but were able to catch a shuttle in front of our hotel. When we left the hotel the front desk called us a cab to take us to the airport. It was the most filthy cab I have ever ridden it! They should stop using this company (can't remember the name) We should have called Yellow Cab ourselves - much nicer cabs. We didn't pay much for our room so I suppose it was okay for what we paid. Would stay closer to Disney next time.

Nice place close to DisneyPosted Oct 28, 2013
We stayed here for a 3 day trip to Disney. Great value for the money. They had a good free breakfast. The ART bus stops right in front of the hotel. You can use the ART bus if you don't want to park in the Disney lots. The Disney lot is $16 a day per car. The bus was $5 for an adult $3 for kids. It depends on how many in your party if you will save money or not. We parked in the Disney lot because it would end up being the same money and it would be easier to drive our own car. There is a bus from the Disney lot that goes to the same drop off place as the ART bus. One thing i noticed, when the ART bus stopped at the hotel it was already pretty full. If you don't get on, you have to wait 10 minutes for the next one. At the Disney lot there are lots of buses so there was no waiting. We parked in the Toy Story lot, we pulled in the lot about 20 minutes before Disney opened and we made it to the gate a few minutes after opening. It was a Thurs, so probably not as busy as a weekend. I travel a lot and I would say this hotel is a solid 3 star hotel for a 2 star price. The room was clean and comfortable. Had TV, frig, iron, hair dryer, free internet. there is a workout room but didn't check it out. My wife and daughter checked out the pool and hot tub and they said it was goo. Bottom line, if you want a nice place the stay when going to Disney and don't want to pay a lot since you are going to spend most of your time at the parks. This hotel would be a great choice.

Excellent with terrible internetPosted Oct 26, 2013
Would definitely stay again, but the internet is terrible...almost unusable. It's a bandwidth # of users issue as after midnight speed is ok. Staff is friendly, bed is very comfortable, rooms are nice.

Trip to DisneyPosted Oct 23, 2013
Location: Not walking distance to the parks, but the bus services is door to door and takes just a few minuets.
The hotel was great for the price, clean and quiet. The breakfast was key for getting an early start at the parks with the kids. The bus services (ART) was great. Cheap, reliable and very friendly staff. The hotel staff were good too, and help with printing boarding passes and storing our bags for and evening departure.
