Pros: We had a king/spa with balcony. It was on the third floor and was quite enough for us.
Cons: The AC/heater was a little noisy but an extra glass of wine made that go away.
Location: Great area for morning walks right from the hotel either on the sand, the beach trail or around the local shops.
This is an older hotel but there was fresh paint and. Everything was clean. We sat in the courtyard one afternoon and watched hummingbirds bathe in the fountain. Even in late November the flowers were well maintained and flourishing. Staff was very friendly and helpful with our meager needs. Onsite laundry is a big plus as we were there for 9 nights. Breakfast is adequate for some days but there are many places within a nice morning walk for the days you need more protein (like bacon). The area of the community is perfect, seems cleaner and more layed back than the southern end of town as faras the budget minded are concerned. We will definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Southern California!

Good LocationPosted Oct 14, 2013
Near to our friend's wedding venue but also away from I-5. Close to beach and good beach atmosphere. One our either way to San Diego or LAX.

Enjoyable place to stay in great localePosted Sep 28, 2013
We looked for somewhere reasonable to stay in San Clemente area and found it, Motel has complex courtyard configuration but it is eclectic . Some views of ocean and in short walking distance. Staff great very helpful. Room clean and we'll appointed Breakfast adequate and supervised by attendant to prevent abuse. Only negative is that in our room wifi was inadequate and we kept losing signal.this needs to be addressed

Passing throughPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: pool, courtyard, laundry facilities
Cons: breakfast buffet should be self-serve
Location: easy to find. we were passing through but it would have been nice to stay another night
No problem checking in late at night. Room and beds were very comfortable. Relaxing courtyard with a fountain. Pool was warm. (Ocean was freezing!)

Fun family weekendPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved that we were close to the Ocean and to our family's party. The bed was great, we were on the 3rd floor and it was quiet , we had a balcony and we sat out side and enjoyed the stars. Only wished we had stayed and other night to use the outdoor spa, i did use the whirlpool tub in the room, and that was very relaxing . Thanks for a great weekend.......Kathy
