Rooms need big refresh!!Posted Jan 13, 2015
Great location. Restaurants awesome but...cleaning staff forgot to restock towels, coffee and did not empty ice bucket on second day. While room decor seemed tired and nicked up. Picture had obviously fallen off the wall and frame was loose.

ROMANTIC WEEKENDPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: COZY, COMFY AND WARM
Cons: NOTHING AT ALL
Location: GREAT RESTAURANTS, FASHION ISLAND FOR SHOPPING, WATER SPORTS, HIGH END AREA AND THE FERRARI DEALER IS RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE HOTEL....
HOME AWAY FROM HOME. OUR FAVORITE GETAWAY FROM THE KIDS.

Great hotel and quietPosted Dec 26, 2014
We stay at this hotel every Christmas eve for the last 5 years. In the last year they have renovated the lobby and other amenities. The renovation looks great but somehow lost its original charm. Valley service was the best and a bit more organized then other years. The menu for room service was cut down but still delicious.

EXCELLENT HOTEL right on the bayPosted Dec 25, 2014
Cons: It is a little pricey. Rate okay, but then there was tax, Newport tourism tax, resort fee, tax on resort fee, and parking fees. Added $100 to nightly
Location: Best spot for the Xmas parade
Loved the décor, the bed was amazing, valet service exceptional, all employees courteous and extremely helpful.

The window do have have drapery, only a wooden blind, which cannot block the sunlight. The noise insulation was not good. Can easily hear the sound from the hallway.
