The walls were paper thin! Could hear every “activity” going on in the room next to us until 12:30am and starting again at 7am, and all of the noise from guests in the hallway sounded like they were right inside our room! We could hear every bit of conversation, bathroom sounds, etc. Pretty terrible night of sleep and very thankful we didn’t have our kids with us!

Very comfortable beds. Notices were up saying they we remodeling. Our room was very large. Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion all came in tiny bottles that were difficult to get the stuff out of. Trying to squeeze the bottles was really difficult, next to impossible if you have arthritis in your hands. Would like to see more environmentally friendly dispensers for these.

Heater in room was broken & very noisy & giving off a bad burning smell. I asked to move to another room & the room I was moved to had just been recently remodeled & painted & window was wide open to air it out. Strong new paint smell in that room. When remodels are being done (throughout hotel), the hotel should close to the public & not attempt to rent rooms that are substandard or freshly painted!

My hubby and I enjoyed our stay here with a couple of reservations. Pros: -Close to Newport Beach -There's a dispensary just two buildings over -We were able to do an early check-in -Free hot breakfast 6:30-9:30am -Convenience store located next in the lobby Cons: -The place is currently under construction. They turned off the water for about an hour during our stay. -Loud neighbors (not really the hotel's fault but just something we noticed) I'm happy to hear the place is getting renovated because there are some aspects of it that need it. I won't go into too much detail but things like the carpet and interior of the rooms. The room we stayed in was perfect for us. The king bed was comfy and so roomy! We liked that it came with a pull-out bed. There was also a fridge, a dedicated desk area with a coffee machine and TV with local channels. Everything was in good, working order and the room itself was very spacious. The AC was somewhat functional but hopefully they upgrade these too. The lobby area is really pretty with the chandelier. The staff was helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back to see the renovations across the whole place!
