“Extremely dissatisfied”

The hotel isn't really "near"anything unless you're driving. The room was poorly insulated and you could hear everything outside of theroom ans smell people smoking around the hotel. The front door to our room had no weather stripping and when the maintenance personnel came around to hose down the sidewalk, the spray actually made the entrance to our room wet. Since there was no weather stripping around the door jamb the heat flowed from the room and it never got warm. The beds had springs sticking out of them and the bed was furnished with sheets only. I had to get the blankets out of the drawers to put on the bed. The coffee in the morning tasted much like cardboard I think it was due to the fact that there wasn't any liquid creamer so we had to use milk, which tasted like cardboard. The pool and hot tub were nice, but that's about it. I would never recommend this place to anyone nor would I ever stay here again.

Area recommendations

If spending time at Disney, stay anywhere on Kattella Dr. Knotts berry farm, try Knott St. Huntington beach or Laguna beach or seal beach find anywhere within a mile of the beach.

“Surprisingly good place to stay”

Since this hotel is a best western and not the Ritz-Carlton,we were pleasantly surprised. The King bed was extremely comfortable; the hotel management also gave us a choice to stay on the ground level or upstairs. The continental breakfast included a good variety of eats (bagels, waffles, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc.). The rooms appeared to have been recently renovated. We would definitely stay here again.

“Very Nice Hotel”

I really enjoyed my stay. I would go back. The pool was great, the staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Great place to stay.

“Want lumpy beds? Then stay here.”

Beds were lumpy and not very comfortable. Staff was was not too helpful and not cheerful at all. I think the bathroom was just a big as their breakfast eating area. They only had three round tables and 6 chairs. When I went to breakfast there was never any room to eat or to prepare your food. I booked two rooms and they did not honor my request that I made at the time of the booking for adjoining rooms, in fact my two rooms were not even next to each other.. Other than that, the rooms were clean and the pool was small but nice.

“Westminster”

Definitely a no-frills hotel. Close to a busy street and nothing to see out the windows but the parking lot. The room had CFL lighting which does not cast a very flattering light. The bathroom lights were on motion sensors and whenever I bent down to get something out of my suitcase or tie my shoes, the lights turned off - very annoying. Ultimately, the most important thing was that the room was very clean.

“Always Clean Comforitable with a friendly Staff”

When ever I am in southern California this is where I stay. Its a perfect spot if you want to be right in the middle of all the action in southern cali. Its so easy to jump right on the freeway and head to LA or San Diego and the beach is right down the road. This is the cleanest hotel Ive ever stayed at and I have stayed in hotels all over the world.

“Last Minute Get Away”

Great little hotel/motel. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpfull (direction specificially). The patios were so relaxing. We really enjoyed ourselfs. We will be back.
