Clean, quiet hotelPosted Mar 4, 2014
One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in yet! Large, clean rooms, nice staff, quiet location. It exceeded our expectations.

nice hotel, but my non-smoking room smells! =(Posted Feb 14, 2014
stayed in a non-smoking room for 2 nights, but the room smells terrible. my husband requested to change to another room right after we entered the room, but other non-smoking rooms were all occupied. so my husband and I decided to get a candle to make the room smell better. light the candle for 2 days, but the room still smells before I checked out the hotel. Also, I booked a queen bed room, but the bed wasn't in queen size it was more like full size. Except the bad smell, full size bed and loud refrigerator noise everything else about this hotel is pretty nice, staffs were very friendly, parking is easy.

Great hotelPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean and quiet. I also forgot my room key and when I returned to my room it was after 12am and the front desk assistant assisted me and was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was nice. The hotel is older so it feels older. Smells a bit upon entry. Ling beds are not available so if you have a big guy with you its probably not going to work. Overall it was a good place to hang my head. Location is in industrial area off freeway. Great is you are visiting local businesses.

Good spot for Irvine Amphitheater eventPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night to attend a show at the Irvine Amphitheater. Comfortable and clean room with TV and full sized refrigerator. Competent service. The place is located near a business complex and everything you need is within a few square miles (gas, restaurants, fast food, Starbucks). A good spot for a short stay or for families. The only downfall is that the hallway smelled like smoke, but our smoke free room was just fine.

Fleas, towels, shampooPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel allows dogs. I killed a flea in my room. I guess I should have thought about that before booking. There was one towel and no shampoo or conditioner...

Way better than we expected and cheaper!!Posted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: The kitchenette with icemaker and how clean it was.
Location: 6 minutes away from the Verizon Ampitheater and Irvine Spectrum Center.
We went down for a concert and ended up in a studio suite. Loved it. We were going to taxi out to dinner but instead picked up beer and a pizza and stayed in because the room had everything. It had a stocked kitchen (minus food) and even a bag of popcorn for us in the microwave. The staff was super helpful in getting us a taxi. We asked for a late check out because we had partied a little to hard, and the answer was "no problem." It's funny because driving there it seems like a strange place to put a hotel in the middle of warehouses and big business buildings a ways from the freeway, but the property was lovely and close to the ampitheatre. We saw another concert two weeks prior and paid double for not as nice of a room and the taxi ride was just the same. We've already told friends to check if there's a Candlewood when they're making plans. We enjoyed are stay. Thanks.
