“Great personable service”
Very sayisfactory.
“Cozy Cottage....”
My fiance and I went for a 2 day getaway. We are local (oceanside) and I read the reviews and decided to check it out for myself. We enjoyed it. The Rooms are small, but just the perfect size for 2 people. They do have a fridge, microwave, cable, fire place & comfy beds. If you are looking for a place just to get a way inexpensively, and you don't mind a small room, then this place is for you. You may want to bring an outside chair because there was only 1 chair outside, but other than that, it was nice. We did check out that mexican resturant. It was pretty good, they make GREAT margerita's. We also went to a Thai resturant about 4mi south in Dana Point. It's a MUST visit place. I lived in Thailand a couple years ago, and their food is outstanding! Take N. El Camino and turn right on Del Mar Avenida. It's on the right side, down a couple blocks.
“Nice plase to stay”
Very nice hotel, lively staff, nice view. Only one problem the railroad is very close and the train whisles all the time when passes the crosswalk.
“Capistrano Seaside Inn”
Very nice cozy bungalow style rooms. Accross from beach. 50's style outside. Close to anything you need.
“Cute and Quaint bring some firewood and time to relax!!”
This place is a little gem. It's really old and adorable. I opened my room doors up and heard the waves crashing on the shore across the street. Once in a while you will hear the train whistle but I still enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I will visit again soon. The owner was very helpful with anything we needed. Definetly I recommend this hotel.
“Nice bargain.”
Great location off the beach within distance restuarants and the Dana Point Harbor (Catalina ferries). Old but nice facility ... but the AmTrak train runs late at night and early in the morning (ear plugs might be handy). Great view of and access to beach.
“My favorite place to stay near the beach! I'll be back!”
This is the best place to stay near the beach at a bargain rate. Walk only 2 blocks to the shore! The room was clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, air conditioner and even a fireplace. The management is friendly and eager to please. They even loaned me a sweatshirt when the weather turned cooler than I expected. Only downside- you will definitely need ear plugs in the AM, as the metro blows its horn on weekdays beginning at 530am. I especially enjoyed the beautiful flowers, plants and trees while drinking coffee on the patio with a tranquil view of the ocean.
“exaclty what it advertises”
we stayed one night, arrived late evening and got room upgrated to a ocean view. for a one nighter it's great, its a no frills no room service kind of hotel, you pay for location not amenities. and parking is easy, right in front of your room.
“Satisfied.”
For a motel that's so close to the beach and reasonably priced, we were very happy with our stay.
“next time I will opt for 3 stars or better”
Was not very clean. Fan blades had black dirt on them. window had plants and spiders making their home on the screen. But the office people were very friendly & helpful. We would not go back again but for 3 nights it was livable.
