Not bad - Not great

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Cons: Bigger TV's.
As the title implies this place is so-so. The hotel is a bit dated and is showing some need for repair and renovation, but to be fair its not as bad as some of the other so called "hotels" I have stayed at. This place has a somewhat tropical feel about it with lots of lush vegetation about the property. The look of the buildings also provides for a somewhat beachy Hamptons like feel. My room was clean, but a bit dated. The downside of this hotel was the TV sets. They are very small in size (microwave sized). One of the things I like to do when I travel is watch movies and I didn't even bother at this place because the TV sets are so small. Bummer! There are some restaurants about a mile left or a mile right, but nothing in the immediate area so you will have to do some drive searching for restaurant if you stay here. Overall this place is more than acceptable for a quick overnight stay, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel, good accessibility.

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean.
Cons: Parking at times, is inconvenient for room access.
I have stayed at this hotel on 2 other occasions. All three of my stays were very pleasant, the accommodations are clean, current and roomy. The staff is friendly and accessible. It is situated perfectly for easy transportation and dining access .

Pros: Comfortable, roomy.
Cons: Look into fixing or replacing the dinette chairs. Edges were sharp & caused my daughter to get cut. Maybe look into adding a small fitness area.
An overall good experience. Staff was quick & friendly.

Not Just A Hotel Room

Posted Jul 28, 2014
It's so much more! It's a cute little suite with a refrigerator and a microwave in a separate space than the bedroom that connects to a bathroom. It's perfect for a mini-getaway or for families! Plus they have a pool and a Jacuzzi and free breakfast that was so delicious! I loved staying there and when I need another stay-cation in the area, I will book again!

Pros: The staff was friendly and the outside and grounds were very nice. The main room was quite large so there was lots of room.
Cons: The rooms seemed dark and outdated. The two chairs at the table had very very tiny seats.
Location: The hotel was very near where we were having a class reunion picnic.
There were four adults and I had to go get more towels every day. The cupboards had no handles so the only way to open was to bend almost to the floor and pull out from the bottom. There were no pull out areas on the top. The bathroom was thru the main bedroom so the people sleeping on the pullout had to go thru the bedroom.

The receptionist was very nice and the room was quite roomy. The major downside was the noise from the air conditioner - so much so that the noise prevented us from getting a good night's sleep.

Wedding event

The chase is very spacious, I usually stay at the embassy suites but they did not have two beds. Found the chase and booked the room since I was bringing my elderly aunts to a family wedding. We all had a great stay and the breakfast was execellent . The hotel was in between the church and the reception venue. We all enjoyed a stay there.
