Great hotel close to disney

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Staff were friendly, proximity to disneyland is great, room was better than expected.
Cons: maybe a bit more variety for breakfast
Location: main draw card is disneyland.
Great hotel about a 20 minute walk from disneyland. Free morning breakfast which is a great start to a long day of disneyland. The staff are very helpful, my partner lost his phone in our room about 10 minutes before checkout, housekeeping helped pull the room apart to find it. Rooms are comfortable, clean bathroom, and enough room to move around within the room.

Great Bargain Near Disneyland

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Location and favorable room rates.
Cons: Nothing, everything was satisifactory.
Location: Disneyland and all points in SoCal.
Nice hotel for this price point. On Katella near Disneyland. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast buffet. I'd book again and would recommend if you don't want to spend $300/$400 a night.

Family Friendly and close to Disneyland

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Easy to get to via the freeway and close to all the fun destinations.
Cons: Update the furnishings in the rooms and spiff up the bathroom.
Location: All able bodied families can easily walk to the Disney park. Getting to the Buena Park area and its fun destinations is a short ride on the freeway.
My wife, myself, and my adult son spent four nights at the Comfort Inn and Suites. Due to an accident on I-5 we didn't arrive until around 3:00 A.M., which is supposed to be about the limit for check-in. My wife called ahead and the desk clerk said not to worry, our room would be ready whenever we got there. Everyone was very nice and we were more than pleased with the hotel facilities and our room was just fine for our purposes. We never made use of the pool or hot tub but they seemed nice and other folks seemed to be having a good time. About the only time we would hear anyone was in the morning around 8:00 A.M. when many families were going down for the complimentary breakfast before heading to Disneyland or other fun destinations. The breakfast was more than sufficient and the quality was very good. Over-all this is a good place to stay at a reasonable price considering it is within walking distance of Disney. My only nit-pick would be that the room and furnishings are starting to show their age and probably are nearing the end of their life cycle. I would not hesitate to stay here again should I find myself in need of another visit to the L.A. area and Disneyland.

Close to Disney Land

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Handy location.
Enjoyable place to stay. Good facilities and friendly staff. Much superior selection of TV channels to all the other hotels we stayed at in the past 5 weeks around the US at this price level.

Noisy Hotel and Poor Customer Service

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Close to Disneyland.
Cons: They need to improve their customer service.
The hotel service did not meet our expectations and we were very disappointed. The lady who checked us in was unprofessional and unfriendly. She asked us this question: "Where are you from?" This is an irrelevant question and none of her business. Why she wants to know about our national origin? Besides, we didn't feel any sense of welcome and appreciation on her part; no smiling and no pleasant words. When we booked the room, we requested a quiet room not facing the freeway, and then when arrived we asked the same lady to give us a room not facing the freeway. She said that we had to pay $10.00 more to get a room on the other side. Oh really? We never heard of that before. The hotel was very noisy because of the freeway and we couldn't sleep all night. Moreover, the hotel customers were making a lot of noise by slamming the doors in the middle of night. The room's carpet was dirty and old and needs to be replaced. The beds were not comfortable at all. The coffee maker shouldn't be inside the bathroom. Disgusting! They claim that the swimming pool was heated, but that was not true; it was very cold. The check-in is at 3:00 PM and the check-out is at 11:00 AM. This is very unfair. Also, they disable the access card at 12:00 midnight until 7:00 AM. That means if someone exits the hotel after midnight to get something from his car, he will not be able to enter the hotel unless he calls the front desk through the intercom.

Dear Guest, I am sorry if the girl did offend you. We ask all the guest's what brings them to the area. It helps us when we make changes or improvements. I will make sure that for other guest's that we smile and are friendly. As for the extra charge. We do charge more and on the web sites it does say for any changes there could be a charge. The check out time and check in time is standard for the majority of hotels. We do check people in early if the rooms are ready and we do allow people to check out later if they ask. I hope this makes things more clear and you will reconsider staying with us.
