Worst Experience Ever

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: EVERYTHING
I chose this hotel because I have stayed at another days inn down the street and I had a great experience. This experience was the worst I have ever encountered. When we arrived to check inn, I should have known better just but coming into the office and it smelled of mold. I had booked 2 rooms for my family over the Christmas Break, the 1st room they gave us smelled so bad of old food like someone had microwaved a plate over and over again. The other room was semi decent until we used the bathroom. The bathroom had mildew in the shower as well as a lot of hair all over the tub. When I called the front desk they assured me that a maid would come clean it. No maid came. I returned to the front desk to get another room. The next room was even worse, I asked if we can just have one of the rooms cleaned like we were originally planned. The worker had informed me that she let the staff go home for the day since she was giving us a new room. My family and I decided to leave, the worker gave us a really hard time with getting our refund and still ended up charging me 1 night for each room even though we were not there more then an hour. Lesson learned, I will never stay here or any small motel ever again! I rather save extra to stay at a good establishment.

Close driving distance to Disneyland

Posted Dec 22, 2014
It's good for the low price and close driving distance to Disneyland (10 minutes or less driving to parking structure). The front desk lady was nice and there was plenty of parking in a well lit lot. Some of the clientele were sketchy and seemed to be locals who were "living" at the motel. The shower pressure is good, but sometimes the tub did not drain very well. The room smelled fine but was not so clean (carpet, bathtub, etc.), however, the sheets and pillow cases looked and smelled clean. The pillows were completely flat. The bed was firm and pretty comfortable. There is a flat screen TV, radio alarm clock, safe, microwave & fridge and this place was pretty quiet. I would recommend it for adults who want a cheap place to sleep and shower (but not recommended for small children who would crawl or play on the floor). You can't expect too much with the low price. Free breakfast (eggs, cereal, waffles, fruit) and WiFi is a nice perk.

OK for Price

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: It was inexpensive, close to Disneyland, has free parking/wi-fi/continental breakfast.
Cons: The property could use some maintenance/updates (including inside the room). The eggs for the breakfast were not very good.
The staff was friendly and helpful - check in/out was very easy.

Close to Disney, but not too close.

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Easy access from Disneyland.
Location: Hey, it is close to Disney. What else counts?
Appreciated staff changing our room on check-in to give us a first floor (no starirs) room.

Good Value

Posted Dec 2, 2014
This hotel fit our needs exactly. It was well priced and close to Disneyland. We were able to stay here two nights for the price of one night at many other area hotels. If you are looking for an economy style hotel - no frills - then this is it. The beds were comfortable and that's all we needed the room for anyway. The only suggestion I would make is to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, the ones provided are not very good.
