Do not stay at this hotel!Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Was close to family
Location: We were there for a death in the immediate family, not recreation
Old, beat up room and hotel badly in need of renovation, poor plumbing, uninformed and uninterested staff, 1/16 inch thick dust and cobwebs on bottom of bedside tables, no trash bags in trash cans, horribly cheap toilet paper, dirty pool area, no data center (one computer in lobby with no privacy or printer and set up inconveniently high for a disabled person), and very poor wifi connection. We extended our stay for 2 days (bereavement trip) and were told we would only have to pay $66/night. However we were charged $89/night upon re-registering and were told the agent made a mistake in the lower price. I will not stay here again.

Days Inn/Daze out!Posted Jul 27, 2014
A sketchy place... For the money spent I expected a lot more for a 'suite' even if its just a motel... A few shady characters lurking around that actually made us uncomfortable. The first red flag was an hour and a half delay in being able to check in... i should've trusted my instincts!! This is a case that I could say I didn't get what I paid for...

Questionable neighborhoodPosted Jul 22, 2014
The staff was very accommodating, but the hotel was less than nice. Probably the most run down Days Inn that I have ever stayed in. The neighborhood seemed a bit shady. Not some place we would let our kids walk alone.

Good location to beaches and surrounding areasPosted Jul 20, 2014
The hotel stay was nice. The online pictures are deceiving the room was very small, but did have what we needed for our short 2nd a stay. The cost was to high for the hotel and it's size.

Old and outdatedPosted Jun 14, 2014
Upon checking in I asked if their was a downstairs room available (since my friend is disabled). I was told there wasn't but that they had an elevator. I later found the room was on the opposite end of the building from the elevator making it difficult to carry luggage, since I was told they did not have luggage carts! The room was very clean but the outside of the hotel was covered with cigarette butts and the bottom of the staircase was littered with trash. The staff was friendly and at checkout I saw a sign that offered assistance to handicap people- guesss I was tired at check in and did not notice it- although it would have been nice if I had been told this when I asked for a luggage cart. This would have helped my friend who carried luggage while using a cane!

Decent. But lame breakfastPosted Jun 12, 2014
When I booked this hotel for our vacation I specifically chose it because it was close to the beach, & stated it had a great breakfast including waffles for breakfast.. We like to have a great breakfast before we start our day & was extremely disappointed when there was cold cereal, bread, yogurt, & bagels. The coffee was terrible so go across the street to star bucks. Overall cleanliness of the room was good, housekeeping should check what's under the beds though... appreciated the mini fridge & microwave. Pool is insanely tiny. Area around/side of hotel a little run down & "ghetto".. The young girl at the front desk could have been a little more peachy also, she had pretty stale attitude and her customer service was a 2 on a scale from 1-10.

Not badPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Yes, it was close the freeway, but it didn't really bother me too much. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful. There's a safe in the rooms which is cool. We ony stayed a night, but I may even stay again, despite the whole freeway thing

Won't Stay AgainPosted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The price at $65 was good, and the room was not the worst I've stayed in. It appeared pretty clean, but the smell of it was VERY unpleasant--really musty and mildewy, combined with some awful cleaner scent.
