“Served the purpose”

Location was great, right across the street from the beach. Thought the hotel would be a little more luxurious but overall a good experience.

“Nice but charge for Self Parking”

Loved everything about this hotel except I was not told there is a $22 self parking charge. I was not aware of it until it showed up on my bill...really!!!

“Close to the beach, great staff.”

Nice location near several beaches. A great stop between business trips to LA and San Diego. Wish we could have stayed longer.

“"haunted" hotel”

This room was gross. awful location. stains on the bright yellow walls, stains on the living room furniture that were old and worn. old and didn't look very clean carpeting.... the bathroom tub was backed up and took maintenance until the next day to clean out a "whad of hair" from drain (maintenance workers words, not mine...) small pool. old patio furniture. 2 large towels shoved underneath a sink with exposed piping and water stains on wood. not very close to beach, and the beach that we found wasn't very nice. i would never, ever stay at this location again. and very surprised at the quality of this hotel chain

“Location was perfect for trip.”

Some areas of the hotel need a little upgrading but in general was OK. Had dirty glasses in the room when we checked in but were quickly replaced when called. The location was great for various visits: Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano.

“Wish we had discovered this years ago!”

Very busy hotel with lots of family friendly activities. Walking distance to beaches, harbor, restaurants, kayaking, whale watching, just about anything you want.

Dining

We discovered a very new (3 weeks) restaurant in a strip mall off Del Prado called The Little Kitchen which serves Asian cuisine with a unique flare. We highly recommend it!
