“Double-Tree in Doheny Beach”

Feels high-end without the high-end price. Right across from an RV park. My room was right off the street so it was kind of noisy to sit out on the balcony but the view was awesome.

“Can't wait to go back”

My husband and I stayed here on our one night honeymoon because we have a 5 month old and we wanted something not to far from home, When we went in there we were friendly greeted by everyone and they upgraded our room to an ocean view just because it was a special occasion. Yeah the location is kind of odd and there is a $22 parking few, but its a small resort, so they need to get money from somewhere. Extremely comfy beds, delicious food and drinks at the restaurant and you are greeted with warm cookies. Really I don't think you can get much better than that :)

“Parking...”

The hotel was nice... alot of road noise, but the hotel is on the freeway so the noise wasn't a surprise. What was a surprise.. and not a good one.. was the $22.00 a night for parking! I parked my car myself and for the 3 nights I stayed at the hotel I was charged $66.00. Beware of extra charges that weren't disclosed prior to by booking with this hotel.

“Excellent Location”

Your right in the middle of everything there is to do from SD to LA. The beachs are right there.. Freindly staff, some of the cleanest room..All the rooms are suite, so if your traveling w/kids this is a plus and priced right...

Quality of design and character of hotel and room was worth higher price than other establishments listed on Expedia. We would return!

“Good beach access- great staff”

Right across from the beach. Unfortunately, the suite was overlooking a section of Pacific Coast Hwy and is just off the offramp from I5, so traffic noise could have been a problem for someone who was not a sound sleeper. Very nice staff and very accommodating. Clean, good lines, comfortable bed with down comforters & good pillows. Be sure you are not put near the 4th floor lounge which had a band and was loud. A good hotel for a family vacation, probably not the best for someone looking for quiet. Convenient.

“Nice Little Getaway”

Nice little hotel just across from Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, CA. While the ocean view rooms were nice, there is a noise factor from the traffic on PCH. The suite was comfortable and the check-in cookie was "Delicious"!

“Great Place to Stay”

We recently stayed three nights at the Doubletree Guest Suites Doheny Beach and thought it was a wonderful hotel. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, our room (and entire hotel) was very comfortable and clean and the restaurant on the top floor was fine for a quick meal. It is close to everything in Dana Point including the harbor which was just a couple of minutes drive away. You can walk across the street from this hotel and through a campground for the state park and be on the beach in about 2 minutes. The evening we checked in we were given two warm, gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookies - what a warm and homey touch. We would definitely go back!
