“Excellent hotel - very well priced for a Fairmont Property”

Just returned from a two night stay at the Fairmont Newport Beach. Hotel was in excellent condition and rooms very well appointed. Hotel staff with the exception of the front desk were very warm and welcoming. The girl who checked me in at the front desk was not overly warm but everyone else certainly was.

Booked our stay at this hotel based upon the excellent customer ratings on Expedia. I am pleased to say the hotel lived up to these lofty expectations. The customer service we received at this hotel far exceeded what I have experienced at any other location over the past couple years. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and treated us with the type of customer service that will make us book with them again without hesitation. Great job!

“Absolutely fabulous”

From the time we arrived until the day we left, my daughter and I were treated like royalty. The concierge service was far beyond our expectations and I can't thank them enough for all their help in making our mini-vacation such an enjoyable one. We took advantage of the shuttle service to some great locations, like Balboa Island, Newport Beach, and of course shopping at Fashion Island The shuttle service made up for being a few miles from the beach, the weather was beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was perfect. The staff was cordial and very helpful. The room was clean and decently large. The location was also amazing: close to the beach and to the airport.

“Fairmont Newport Beach”

It was a very nice suite....we were upgraded since it was our 20th anniversary and our daughter called ahead. However, we thought that the $26 daily charge for parking our car, plus tipping each time we took the car out, was excessive. Watch out for that!

“Nice Hotel by John Wayne Airport”

Nice hotel and location near John Wayne...rooms were very clean, upscale, with great LCD TV... Was my B-day as bellman overheard my conversation with a friend...had a b-day cake in my room later that night... nice lounge in bottom floor and pool area on third floor. Work out area could use A/C vs fans on the floor...overall great place!

“GREAT value for a nice hotel by airport”

A GREAT hotel for a night that you need the convenince of being close to airport. Surrounding area doesn't have too much to offer but it definitely served the purpose for the night we stayed there. It was clean, comfortable and a good value for the price! We enjoyed pool, gym, restaurant and bar area.

“beautiful location”

The beds are nothing short of amazing for their comfort and luxury. You hear planes flying overhead, due to the proximity of airport. The outdoor pool is beautiful and the fitness center above average for a hotel. Treadmills had built in individual tvs. Expedia was offering a special room rate that included valet parking which is significant because the daily rate for valet is required and unavoidable. No grocery stores in vicinity, and mostly pricey theme type restaurants nearby. Convenient to airport and a hotel staff eager to please, including a shuttle that comes immediately and shuttle service to nearby shopping and restaurants. A true luxury hotel for incredible rates through Expedia. As is usual with such hotels, they charge a high rate for in room internet.
