“Milking the Fees”

This was a nice hotel for the money but we could have done without the 21.00 dollar a day self parking fees. In addition the gentleman who checked us in late Friday night was not very inviting or friendly, its unfortunate that with double digit unemployment in our country, they put this guy out front to be the face of the hotel.

My first (and hopefully there will be more) visit(s) to California was great. The hotel is just beautiful; the fresh apples upon checkin were a very nice touch for a late night, healthy snack after a very long redeye flight in from the East Coast. Thoroughly enjoyed the Crabtree & Evelyn complimentary toiletries in the bath. The staff was most helpful and thoughtful, and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated. I especially liked the extra bed pillows, real coffee cups and glasses in the room. Thank you for the most pleasant (quick) business trip.

“Excellent Choice”

Quality in hotel room appointments; bedding, bath fixtures, maintenance. Quiet. Parking is $8/day or $21 overnight; pricey but I enjoyed its convenience to seminar I was attending. LA area resident; I stayed over Friday night to avoid traffic. Pool & spa on second floor was deserted but lovely --- and impeccable! Also great fitness set-up there. Restaurant not a hot spot for Fri. but bar open. Starbucks in lobby, open in am.

“Great place to stay”

Great location to dine at some fine resturants and shop at the South Coast Plaza Mall. $16.00 for hotel parking for guests and bit much, but that's Orange County. Very nice rooms.

“A good hotel for a weekend with our grandson”

We stayed here when we visited our grandson, who just moved to LA a month ago. He's 9 and had a great time with the cool elevators and atrium. We swam in the pool -- nicely maintained -- and had a good dinner in the bar. The hotel is well maintained, good service and people, and we'll go back the next time we go visit him.

When my wife an I arrived, we parked in the self parking area. This is an enclosed garage. We found it confusing finding our way to the Front Desk. Once we got there, the employees were friendly and helpful, checking in was easy. I found the room was large and quite. The bed was a little hard. I also saw a small amount of wallpaper seperating in the bathroom. Other than this small problems the room was great. We only stayed one night, and checking out the next morning, was very simple.
