“Would definitely stay there again.”

The hotel was very clean. I don't think we got one of the remodeled rooms but the room we had was very nice. The location was convenient for us, close to airport, shopping and relative we had gone to visit.

“Nice getaway hotel with great value!”

We stayed at this hotel for Labor Day weekend to relax and get away from the Vegas heat. It was a great value for a holiday weekend and great location. It is right across the street from the mall and tons of restaurants. It is also really close to the beach. I felt very safe in the neighborhood walking to where we wanted to go. The hotel does not have the whistle and bells of a resort, but it is clean and has basic amenities. It is still being renovated, but our room had new carpeting and items in it. Only one elevator was working and it was slow. Internet is slow, but that helped us to totally get away from work email and stuff! The staff was helpful during our visit as well. I will definitely stay there again if the price is still the same.

“A bit of a disappointment”

Fell short of promises on Expedia. There was no available shuttle from airport and pool was under repair. Airconditioner was unplugged and was a not as clean as it should have been. Location was good though with mall and restaurants across street.

“Great location”

The location of this hotel was great. Close to shopping and the beach. It looks like the lobby has been remodeled. Our room was on the 5th floor, it was a huge room. It lacked a comfortable bed and shower that worked properly. The water would run out of the nozzle and head at the same time causing the tub to fill up with water. I wasn't expecting anything fancy for the price paid.

“We ARE coming back!”

This hotel was the perfect location, and the perfect price. The only reason it didn't get all 5's was simply because it was under construction. When we left, we had our minds made up that would stay there again, and again...

“Great Hotel”

Great Hotel, easy to locate good neighborhood and close to shopping. Was not impressed with construction going on and we were not told the pool would be unavailable...brought my suit for nothing!

“it was decent...”

i wasn't UNsatisfied... just the hotel in general was fairly old and run down, but they were working on updating some areas. the hotel hallways and rooms were humid and stuffy, and the AC in the room could not seem to keep the room cool enough, but still tolerable. it was a decent hotel for the price/location

“2nd stay in 9 months”

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel in the past 9 months.Its under renovation which means it keeps getting better. This time they celebrated taco Tuesday in the bar with Salsa dancing and dollar taco. It was the best. As I stated they are upgrading the hotel. The pool was closed as the result of the construction work. We had Fathers Day brunch which could not have been better. This hotel is right next door to Old World which is a little German village with shops bar and res truant. I plan on returning to this hotel my next visit to Southern California.

Area recommendations

Old World is the best Buc de Peppo is a great place to eat. Bella Terra mall has a number of place to eat. You can't beat this location.

Dining

Cheese Cake Factory, Islands grill,King fish Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, Coco's. BJ brew, are all great places to eat and real close to the hotel. The hotel has a breakfast buffet everyday.
