HOTEL IRVINEPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: Hotel has a large market area that sells a variety of products snacks and drinks at reasonable prices including fresh made sandwiches and pizzas.
Cons: - King size mattress was very soft. Continental breakfast included - loaded with carbs, coffee & juice. Parking at extra cost, expensive & not close.
Location: Location is very good. Close and easy access to 405 Freeway and John Wayne Airport. Good access to shopping malls, short drive north to Disneyland.
- Stayed at this hotel for 8 days and used it as a base to shop at the local malls and to re-explore the area as far south as San Diego and to Balboa Island/Peninsula to the west and Disneyland to the north. Great location to do this from. Hotel has a nice, well kept pool area that was basically unused by the guests. It appears that the transition of this hotel away from the Hyatt chain to its own identity is almost complete. Very courteous and helpful staff encountered throughout the hotel.

Nice hotelPosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Free breakfast, red bar lounge, and pool area.
Cons: Validate parking (at least for one car)! Or reduce fees.
Location: Disneyland, beaches, Irvine Spectrum. If you're interested in asian stuff, it's the perfect location to visit Saigon mall, Korea town
Very nice stay. The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was such a nice treat! Especially the coffee! We went to the pool and it was very nice. My son enjoyed it a lot. My only complain would be the $18/day parking and no coffee in the rooms. However, the breakfast made up for it! Overall, would totally come back and stay here again. Well worth it!

Corporate hell. Dated, worn down. Poor facility.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Market Store.
Cons: Install towel racks, shower bars. Replace beds, sheets, pillows. Provide clean sheets each day. Quiet down dining / bar / lobby. Update everything.
Location: Nothing. Virtually nothing "nearby" (easy walking). MUST have car or try to endure the poor dining facilities (cafeteria style crap). Driving a must.
Would not recommend. Corporate hotel for business types. Room was not very clean, bed was not provided fresh sheets each day, no towel racks, no shower racks, lumpy bed, pillows need replacing. Free breakfast was pitiful. The ONLY thing I liked was the Market Store where you could purchase food which I did every day. Hotel is located in a corporate park and fills daily with business types attending meetings. Very noisy main lobby / bar / dining area especially at evenings. Business snobs everywhere. Barely rates a "3", 2+ would be more like it on a scale of 1 to 5.

Great hotel!Posted Apr 14, 2015
OK so because I'm an Expedia member I had the fortune to be upgraded to the "club" suite, and had the room available for an early check-in. I didn't stay too much in the room, but the time I did it was very comfortable. Everything from the lobby to the restaurant is outstanding. The only downside to me personally was the lack of convenience stores nearby (by foot); I didn't rent a car for my stay, so walking to the District plaza or the Diamond Jamboree, the nearest places available, while enjoyable, could get a little tiresome. If you have a car available, you'll find very easy to get around Irvine and neighboring cities
