okay hotel on the out skirts of Anaheim

Posted Jul 26, 2015
It was an okay hotel. The location was in the middle of nowhere so there were few restaurants or attractions around it. The service was mediocre the staff was a bunch of young adults. Pool hours are short and the complimentary breakfast was not good.

I liked the size and layout of the room. Our rom was on the 3ed fllor so it was nice to have an elevator to get our luggage up and down.

Good price. Quaint and has its charm - sliding doors that open to a small, very private courtyard with patio set and fountain was a nice touch. Room fixtures need updating though; professional paint job necessary. The old, antique feel missed the mark; the room just looked and felt old. Full kitchen a plus for those needing one.

Nice hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Very nice hotel. Needs new cooling systems according to my husband but I thought it was fine. Kitchen looked like it had recently been remodeled so pictures don't do justice. Would definitely stay again. Oh and it's close to Disneyland and about 30 min from universal studios of course with no traffic.

Enjoyed our stay. Near Disney/ & Knotts Berry Farm

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Great hotel. Felt safe, market across the street, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful decor, spacious rooms & balcony/courtyard, conveniently located.
Cons: I remember wishing there wwas mosquito/netting or a screen so that can leave balcony door ajar in the evening.
Location: For our visit we went to Disneyland, California Adventure Park, and Knotts Berry Farm.
Having recently moved from the East Coast, I wanted to take a trip with my son to help ease the transition. We arrived early to the Hotel Pepper Tree, 10 am if I remember correctly, so we had to check in early. The staff made early check-in hassle free. They were polite, courteous, and competent. The exterior is simplistic, but the interior holds a lot of charm. I booked the Standard King, which was a large space, with fully equipped kitchen. I loved both the layout as well as the decor. Plenty of room for my son to play with his toys and, utilizing a nook that served as a small office, for me to have my space There is a market directly across the street that had everything I needed. The kitchen had cookware, utensils, etc. Everything I needed. We ate breakfast on the balcony, which was the largest I've been on in a hotel. Could have hosted 4-5 guests out there, so it was more than sufficient for us. On day 3, curious to have the Courtyard King experience, I asked if I could transfer rooms for the remaining 2 days. It was no problem. Someone came for my luggage & down we went. The Courtyard King has just that, a private courtyard - equipped with water feature. The space was the same length as the balcony, but twice the width. My son practically lived out there while mommy got to relax! We didn't utilize the pool, but our original room had a view and it looked lovely. All in all, very convenient locale. Accommodating staff. Clean, and safe. A+

It was alright hotel, nothing special about it. Room was basic, as for breakfast (included) there was nothing that I would call breakfast!

Location & Spaciousness

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Hotel Pepper Tree is a sweet hotel in a fantastic location -- near to restaurants (Mama Cozza for one) and their own Mex-Seafood directly in front of the hotel. This is also where they offer their free continental breakfast or you can have one cooked to order for $5.99. The hotel's rooms are large. Mine had both a king bed and a twin plus a love seat for TV viewing. The kitchen area is well-enough equipped although in less than stellar condition (cabinets look as though they're about 50 years old and have been abused during that time frame). I'm told they're updating rooms which will be a big improvement. However, staff was always courteous, efficient and helpful, breakfast was more than adequate; dinner at the newly opened restaurant was also quite good.

Nice clean hotel in a quiet area.

Posted Jul 1, 2015
The hotel was inviting with its Spanish style decor. It is quaint and small but comfortable. I enjoyed having a kitchenette and a patio to sit on. We were happy with the room. It was clean and fir our needs. We felt safe and the hotel was close to the Anaheim Convention center but far enough away from the crowds. Would definitely return

Hotel muy cerca de Disney

Posted Jun 30, 2015
El hotel es estilo rústico, esta muy limpio, la limpieza es buena solamente que no te lavan trastes. Lo que no me gusto fue el desayuno porque solo ofrecen panes y cereales, fruta y todos los días es lo mismo
