The Lobby was closed, checked in at small window, $100 usd deposit, no parking available close to the room , no elevator on sight, needs a renovation or at least a really good clean up, a guy was swearing out loud and talking by himself at the breakfast room.

I wish their breakfast was better. There was only waffles and toast for their continental breakfast. And the juice was so watered down that it tasted like apple water or orange water not juice.

The room was disgusting - the floor was growing mold from the fridge and bathroom leaking, the windows screens were torn and someone could easily climb out and in with the window as open upon arrival. The bedding was stained, the hottub wasn't operational for most the trip, the pool chairs were broken and sun rotting. Worst HoJo Inn I have ever stayed in by far.

The pool and jacuzzi need to be repainted, the furniture around that area was very old and tattered. There were homeless people near the property in one occasion there was a person living out of their car loitering there. The breakfast in the pictures of their website did not match what they were serving. They had toast, waffles, cereal, juice and coffee, nothing else. There were hand prints that look like it was blood on the roof in my room and also a blood stain on the toilet paper when we arrived.

Very out dated. Had to switch room because the room was not like advertised. Very bad damage to the walls. Sketchy person next door with a connecting door. Did not feel safe. Second room was a bit better. Second room had blood on one of the bed and hair on the other. A leaky toilet bowl. Mold in the bathroom. Breakfast is very lacking. Go somewhere else. Only stayed because another family member booked here from out of state and did not read the reviews.

Filthy and dirty hotel. Blow dryer in my room was broken found out when I had to use it at 7am. My lamp in my room was broken so half side of my room was dim when it got dark out. The drain in my bathroom tub was clogged so the water was 6 inches above my feet while I showered the entire time. If your visiting from out of town (I was) there’s no elevators so be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs. Worst of all staff came into my room even though I put the DO NOT DISTURB sign up!!! You are not suppose to come into my room! That really set me off! For the amount I paid for the room was over hundred a night! I would of expected this kind of crappy service for less at a dirty motel! But for the amount I paid, this was not worth my money! Worst experience in a hotel be far! Honestly!

The costumer service was great, but however the bed and room can be updated and deep cleaned. One of the bed in my room had a stained urine stench. The front desk admin changed our room and was very sorry. I do think these rooms and carpets should be more deep cleaned

The shower was dirty with hair still on the walls. The drain was clogged and the water would take a long time to drain while showering. The shower head, knobs, and sink were full of mold and disgusting black residue. Shower curtain was also stained along with the pillows. The place just felt really dirty and old.

Not good housekeeping, definitely needs a deep cleaning. Furniture noisy and broken, bathroom walls peeling & bubbling from water damage in different areas and the walls have some kind of tiny gross splatter on it. Has a nice little fridge and microwave that were clean. Curtains did not close and left about a 6" gap I had to use a hair clip to keep closed. Door to room does not close on its own so had to pull door closed.... did not notice until we came back and door was slightly left open . Staff is helpful. Maybe I got a room that needed to be remodeled?? Place was okay besides that. VERY convenient location to Knotts, Pirates Adventure, Medieval Times, McDonalds, gas stations, freeway and more.

The staff was extremely friendly, I feel they went above and beyond to help make the stay enjoyable. The room was clean, the area was decent, the room showed its age a little bit. Even with the issue we had we would stay there again without a doubt. The only issue that we had during our 7-night stay, was if we came back to the room after 9 pm we had to get the room key resynced. Which was 6 out of the 7 nights. With 2 kids coming back from a baseball tournament and theme parks late at night it was not desirable.

Christmas vacay
This was Christmas trip. We arrived Christmas Day and stayed until Saturday. Sadly every night we had to get a new room key because ours would not work. After the third night my hubby was pretty upset. Our bed was outdated but fairly comfortable. We have stayed here several times over the years, but this was the worst. Ever the breakfast was only bread, waffles or cereal. Nothing fresh or oatmeal.
