Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Location is nice. The only negative was the bed. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Exceeds 5 star excellence

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Everything!!!!!
Location: It's possible to go to the Angels stadium to see and baseball game. The main attraction was that the beach was easily accessible from the hotel.
Upon arrival there was a bellhop ready to take our luggage. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional. Everyone at the hotel was kind and accommodating. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Great hotel, Perfect location!

Posted Jun 29, 2015
This hotel is only one of two located right across the street from Huntington Beach. Only 3/4 of a mile from the Huntington Beach Pier. The pools and spa were great, along with the small shopping center and restaurants located in the hotel itself. It even has its own walkway across the road so you have a straight shot to the ocean! The rooms were very comfortable and roomy. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel, Close to beach & Fun

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Easy access to beach and Area
Location: Nearby is the beach which is very easy to get too and main street downtown. Plenty places to eat and shop ! Disneyland is close 30 min drive !!
Loved our stay at the hotel. Got there and the staff was terrific.I was given a room bigger than I expected with a beautiful view and huge bathroom. Very nice place to stay form the staff too the pool service and easy access to beach. Fire Pits around the hotel were an awesome for cool nights. There is a shuttle service to main street in Huntington beach that we took advantage of and that was nice. All around a great experience my family enjoyed. Thanks to the Hyatt staff !!

Great hotel across from Huntington beach

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Kids loved the waterslides, s'mores at the firepit and fish feeding.
Cons: Didn't like that only options were to valet park ($35)or park across the beach. Should offer self parking.
Location: Lots of dining options nearby if you have a car (10 minute drive), walmart nearby
Went for a family vacation and had a great time. Friendly staff, beautiful view of the beach from our room

Awesome hotel

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Everything about this hotel is amazing. From the friendliness of the hotel staff, to the amazing pool areas, the cleanliness of the rooms and the dining experiences located right at the hotel. We loved the kids' pool area because the kids were happy sliding down the waterslides and we were happy enjoying the Slider's pool side service. Our ocean view suite was spacious, very clean, and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Everything you need

Hyatt is right across a short walking bridge from the wide white sandy strand, and about 1/4 mi walk down the walking path from the pier. The resort has a grocery store/coffee shop, arcade for kids, multiple restaurants, several pools and waterslides, and gift shops, bike rental etc, all on site. Although the downtown is only a few blocks away, one doesn't ever NEED to leave the resort if one doesn't want to. Rooms are starting to get a little dated (our third summer visiting in a row), but still warm, comfortable, and the ocean view rooms all have spectacular views of the surf. Pete's restaurant is more casual and bar-food like. The watertable is more upscale with tasty, unique, and more healthy options including incredible Salmon grille on wooden planks. A resort favorite passtime is cooking marshmallows over the scattered fires throughout the resort and making/eating smores. There's a kids club for parents who want protected alone time.
