Kid-friendly without being kid-centricPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Fabulous kids' suite, with spacious bar fridge and microwave, which made snacking much cheaper and more convenient. Efficient and responsive staff.
Cons: We didn't discover the Wifi was free until our third day there.
Location: Shuttle to Disneyland is reasonably priced and always on time. And it was nice to be a little bit off the beaten path.
This appears to be the nicest hotel on the Disney strip, and caters equally to family and businesspeople. For that reason it has fabulous amenities -- a recreation area with a firepit, tennis courts, etc., and a large and well-equipped fitness centre. Its main restaurant offers free dining for kids under 12 if you order adult entrees, and the bar beside it has a fantastic movie-viewing area for kids that lets you socialize while they're entertained.

Outdated rooms and uninformed hotel staff!Posted Apr 24, 2015
Our experience overall wasn't what we expected. The rooms were small and outdated for the overpriced room that we paid to stay in. We had gone there for a wedding and our anniversary. The checkin was fine, but they didn't tell us they couldn't accomodate a smoking room for us. After checking in to our room we noticed the sign and tried to call the hotel staff to get more info. It took 3 calls and 20 mins for them to stop putting me on hold, and transferring me from person to person just to tell me they are a non smoking hotel, the first person could have told me that! Overall we wouldn't stay there again. Rooms are very small and bathroom was gross!

Very nice hotel Good location Relatively close to Disney Parks ~ 10-15 minutes by shuttle. Shuttle is not free Parking is too expensive Overall neighbourhood around the hotel ( but also generally around Disney Parks ) is not too friendly ...

Close and convenient to DisneylandPosted Apr 12, 2015
The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I locked my car without the keyless entry and they pushed my car to a safe spot to leave it till I had keys sent to me. The rooms are clean and comfortable , the food good. Not many extras, no robes or body wash but everything you need. Thanks !

Not a 4 ****Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Disneyland.
Cons: The quality of the room.
I am surprised this hotel is rated among other 4 star hotels in Annaheim, CA. The room is not comfortable. The lighting is very poor. There is no exhaust in the bathroom so the entire hotel room steam up anytime someone showers. The room then becomes very muggy. The toilet does not work well, it needs to be flushed many times before it works. The room and the bathroom are more of an economy standard. the HYATT Regency badge is misleading.

Smallish roomPosted Apr 10, 2015
There is an unexpected $24 daily parking fee. I guess that is the resort fee. Pool looked nice but it was too cold while we were there. Room was clean, but small. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Nice hotel but not worth the pricePosted Apr 8, 2015
The hotel looks nice but for the price we paid, it's not worth it. There is a fee for everything in the room, no complimentary water bottles, no free Wifi. The bathroom looks old and the hot & cold shower was so weird, sometimes it was hot and then turned cold and continued like that even when we switched it to cold option. You also have to pay for the movies on TV which are pretty pricey. We probably won't stay here again for our next trip.

Snooty staff, expensive parkingPosted Apr 7, 2015
I admit I was a little disheveled when I walked into the hotel, I was exhausted and sweaty after walking around Disneyland all day. The staff person seemed to want to rush me out of the lobby so no one would see me in their precious hotel. When walking to our room a staff person stopped us on the way to the lobby and asked if they could help us find something. When I said I was just going to our room the staff person said, "oh, you're staying here?" And I simply replied "yep" and walked off. They charge more for parking overnight then Disneyland does for an entire day, and Disneylands parking is more secure. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking and the shower was dripping. The TV was so grainy you could hardly see anything. We were in Anaheim for 3 nights, but after the first night we quickly switched to a different hotel and had a much better experience.
