“Laguna beach”
good location, outdated rooms, TV, pedestal sink in the bedroom. would stay at this hotel only for the location.
“Boutique by the Beach”
The best thing about this boutique hotel is its proximity to a relatively private cove. The hotel staff is excellent. The breakfast is "full" rather than "continental." The wireless internet is free. But...the rooms are small (the standard ones) and the outlets (for charging things) are scarce. All in all, worth a stay if you like the beach and or Laguna. BTW, a great Mexican restaurant is just across the street.
“Great hotel staff”
Outstanding breakfast and location. Rooftop bar has a wonderful view. The rooms are small but well maintained. Room could have used a comfortable chair.
“Great customer service!”
Overall, my husband and I had a really great stay at this hotel and we do recommend staying at this hotel. Location was great and customer service at all levels were just outstanding. Hotel is a short walk to the main beach, downtown, shops, restaurants, and tons of art galleries. The hotel is also a few steps away from Cress Beach and the hotel will provide you with beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. So, you don't even have to bring your own. In addition, they contract with a fitness center about a block away which you may use during the duration of your stay. Breakfast is delicious and usually fills us up until mid afternoon. We do have to warn you, that if you are sensitive to noise, that this is a really busy hotel. They have a bistro on the first floor which seems to be busy most nights and their courtyard can be rented out on the weekends or can be used as overflow for their bistro. So, depending on the location of your room, you might hear singers in the weekends or people talking at the courtyard. They do try to end all the parties by 9 or 10 so we were not too bothered by it. The one reason we did not give this hotel a perfect score is because the bed in our room was a bit hard. We had to sleep with a pillow under our knees which worked out just fine. But, all in all, we had a great stay at this hotel and a great vacation at Laguna Beach.
“We loved it!”
Great location, very nice room, comfortable bed, very near the beach. The upstairs bar is great, the restaurant downstairs is amazing. I loved the charm of this historic hotel!
“cute closet”
the hotel itself is charming with a great vibe. service is friendly. love the bar upstairs on the roof. the room itself leaves a bit to be desired. there was barely room enough to put the suitcase down and we used the in room refrigerator as our staging area for our stuff. as long as you're not traveling with anyone and don't plan on using the room for more than a place to sleep and only sleep you'll be fine; however, that being said, you have other choices that are cheaper and nicer. the rooftop bar is still enticing and they do allow you to bring your own beverages up there after the bar is closed which is nice as we're not used to a bar closing at 9. overall it's a cute hotel but the rooms are terribly cramped with minimal amenities.
“Great hotel and location”
This is a charming, clean fun hotel. Rooftop bar and restaurant is a favorite of the whole town with panoramic view of the coastline and dolphins swimming by in the ocean, no kidding! Downstairs restaurant is delicious gourmet food in affordable tapas portions. The standard room was small but clean and everything you need. Other room are bigger and all decorated nice but different. Loved our stay and will go back. Next time we would ask for a room off the street for more quiet, but we also had a side window ocean view with breeze so it was still nice.
“A fantastic experience”
The place is extraordinary; the employees are eficcient; the terrace is amazing; rooms are very comfortable; we fell in love with the place, be sure we will return!
“"Very accommodating, great roof top deck/ bar and an awesome location!"”
The front desk staff were friendly & very accommodating. Beautiful views from roof top deck. Free parking & a nice selection with the continental breakfast. Awesome location, close to beach, shopping, clubs & eateries.
“Beauty at the Beach”
La Casa del Camino is a beautiful historic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is easy access to the beach and shopping in Laguna Beach. The standard room is on the smaller side, but they're comfortable and clean. If you're looking for a local gem with a bit of night life and a view then this is a hiding treasure in Laguna.
