A great place to stay and a beautiful setting.

Pros: The View!
Cons: TV format. The channels were not able to be viewed in wide screen so you have two black bars on the side of the screens which defeats the purpose.
Location: The ocean is right there along with great shopping everywhere!
My wife and I spent our 12th anniversary here at La Casa Del Camino and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The setting was beautiful and the roof top view was the best in Laguna Beach. We stayed in the Spanish room which wasn't big by any means but was very cozy. I wasn't sure if we had anybody staying in the room/s sharing our walls but if there was we didn't hear them. The staff was great and the parking lot, being across from the hotel was a bit cramped so if you have a truck or a large car you may be pushing your luck but all in all it was a great stay.

Don't stop here! Find another hotel in Laguna.

Pros: K'ya Bistro Bar. Food and service was great!
Cons: Change the reception staff. Allow some natural ventilation into the rooms.
Location: Public beaches are fun, great surf. A few tidal ponds for those walking the beach. Much to do from dining to shopping. Ride the tram, its free.
For the cost you pay to stay del Camino is horrible. The reception staff were very self serving and unhelpful. Boiling hot room, where the staff left on the heat and this with improper venting of exhaust, back into the room. The windows were nailed shut so couldn't take advantage of Pacific coast breeze to cool things off. Reception answered questions that made one think they didn't wish travelers at the hotel. One very good thing was the dining in the hotel. Not sure whether or not affiliated with the hotel Camino, but the restaurant, K'ya Bistro Bar, I would highly recommend. By the way, this was not recommend by the reception staff. For the money you pay to stay, don't. Sleep on the beach. A day in the slammer might be better than this hotel.

Right next to the beach. Awesome rooftop area!

Loved the charm of this hotel! Staff was so friendly! Rooftop area is so nice and special! Would absolutely stay here again! We stayed in the Spanish queen partial ocean view.. I was worried that it was going to be too small, but it was just right! Only thing I would change is I wish the bedroom window would open so I could listen to the ocean.. We loved being able to walk around and explore laguna!

Pros: The complimentary breakfast and staff. My room was clean and its a quiet hotel after 10pm.
Location: One of the best locations.
Excellent service and prime location. I was so happy to stay here. So close to the beach and walking distance to all the fun in Laguna beach.

Great hotel and location

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: It was very clean and close to everything. You could walk everywhere!
Cons: The walls and floors seem to be a little thin, you could hear a lot of noise from upstairs and in the hallways.
The location is right on the beach and has great access to all the restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel restaurant was amazing, food was excellent. Wish we had realized the restaurant was there earlier in our stay!

Enjoy the stay near ocean

You can bring the breakfast to the rooftop. So cozy and calm in the morning. The wifi is not that fast in the room, but totally ok in the lobby couple steps from room. Breakfast they provide is perfect. Like it.
