“very nice hotel”

the free breakfast was fabulous...i was amazed at the variety of foods offered...and it was delicious. cisco was especially helpful to my handicapped sister, getting her settled in for breakfast, getting her order perfect, coming by to check on her to see is she needed anything...stan the shuttle driver also went above and beyond to help her with her scooter to get to disneyland and back. They made our stay much easier! we were very pleased with the hotel...our complaint was that the shuttle to disneyland didn't run often enough...EVERY hour would have been better. the maids were wonderful and very thoughtful with my younf granchildren, bringing them a toy package. we had a wonderful tiime there!

The location was the best part. The hotel is right across the street from The Cheesecake Factory and all the shops at The Garden Walk in Anaheim. In the Garden Walk they have a VERY COOL bowling alley, there's also a movie theater, shops and more restaurants, it was great. Look it up online and see for yourself! The second best part was the shuttle to Disneyland and California Adventure, there is a small fee but it was very convienent right there in the hotel parking lot and only a 5-10 minute ride. The room was clean and fine for what we payed. It's not the best hotel we've ever been in but it's not the worst either. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was a little crowded but we ate there all three days of our stay (bagels, waffles, muffins or dougnuts, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, milk & juice). The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful even though you could see she was very busy and overwhelmed. One thing that it doesn't show you very well in the pictures of the hotel is that the pool although heated is actually outside. It looks indoors in the photos, but it is actually open to the outside air. Overall I would stay here again. We had a great time on our vacation!!

“simple hotel for the money, nice free breakfast, great kids suite”

we used this hotel for the price and reasonable location to disneyland. also the kids suite was a hit with my 6yr and 3yr old. they had there own private room with tv and cute kids table. the room was clean, and neat. nothing special, but we just were there from midnight to the next morning. the breakfast was good and free. they had lots of selections- eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, toast, fresh fruit,donuts and juices. i was grateful for that...it helps the expenses. quitte at night, slept really good. the tram to disneyland is just behind the hotel. and once we were on the tram it was maybe 5-8 minutes to the park which was great. the wait for the tram was maybe 20minutes tops. really convenient in my opionion.

“One of the best in Anaheim”

We stay in Anaheim about twice a year and this was the first time at La Quinta Inn. This was probably one of our most enjoyable stays yet. The service was great and the location was even better. We caught a tram everyday to Disneyland and even back a few times to change our wet clothes with no time wasted at all thanks to the hotel being so close. The only real complaint we had was some of the sheets had huge holes in them. Other than that one complaint the rooms were very clean and comfy.

Hotel must nicer than expected. Suites were great for families with kids. Free Breakfast was more than expected. All staff extremely friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Good value.

“A good value for the money”

For about half the cost of staying at an Embassy Suites, we didn't have high expectations. We wanted a suite, and this was about as inexpensive as we could find that was within a reasonable distance of Disneyland. The room was pretty small, but it was clean, check-in was a breeze, they had the requested crib waiting in the room when we arrived (thank goodness, because it was midnight!), and we did not have any problems. One very positive note was that our room was always cleaned up by 2:00 p.m., so we never had any issues with them trying to knock while the kids were sleeping!!! The hotel is sort of within walking distance to Disneyland. We walked with two kids the first day, and it was tolerable, but by the second day, we decided that for as inexpensive as the shuttle was, it was totally worth it to do that. My only negative comment on the shuttle service is that I wish it ran more than every 20 or so minutes, but other than that, there were no problems. Parking was most definitely NOT a problem, as there were plenty of spaces, and we really liked the security feature that required you to swipe your keycard before you could get on an elevator.

“Better then Disney's own value hotels!!!”

Close to Disneyland. We stayed on the 5th floor right across from the elevator. The only noise we got was from the ocasional load child. We never heard another shower/toilet/tv or the people in the next room like at Disney Hotels. The breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning, we only missed it once because we over slept. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful. We did not run into a single staff member that wasn't friendly. We will certainly stay here again.

friendly front desk people, breakfast buffet is great and enough to start the day, room had nice view and pretty clean, Very close to disneyland and you don't have to pay for parking like other hotels
